Going into a new GD song with no prior knowledge is one of the greatest feelings. Imagine if everyone is saying it sucks? Guest Posted September 10, 2019 Share Posted September 10, 2019 I know a lot of people have had their doubts about this upcoming album because of things like Butch Walker, the Madonna Inn, and now the Hella Mega tour.. I've had a feeling since RevRad that it will be absolutely amazing. RevRad was Green Day doing what they do best, all in all a pretty solid album but too safe. Completely understandable and honestly the best route to take after the Trilogy though. But now it's time for experimentation again, I want and expect GD to go crazy in the best of ways with their upcoming album. Since I've had such high expectations for so long I wonder how I'll react if they don't live up to them lol. Still convinced they will, and if not well even 'not-so-good-green-day' is still Green Day and I'll probably be thrilled. We're so close now, I look forward to my own and everyone elses reaction to what we hear. Hopefully I was right all along and everyone who is worried will be pleasantly surprised!
