Green Day Ripping off the title of a Phish song on the 2nd track? That’s a bold choice, indeed. However, it’s not like they haven’t fought off a bunch of dirty hippies before...Mud Fight Numero ¡Dos! confirmed!

I don't think he is. He mentioned in the 90s that he tried it, but had weird side effects.

I don't know why I can't post my screenshot but did anyone know why when we search Green Day on Youtube their name page is call "Sweet Children"?

On mobile it's like that though.

That’s pretty funny. Yeah it says Sweet Children when you search for the channel but when you go to their channel home page it says Green Day. Cute. I wonder if that’s recent.

I dunno if that link is working for you guys but yeah when you search green day on YouTube it comes up as sweet children. Their YouTube has been weird lately. Accidentally uploading that piano song a few months back too

That was an automatic YouTube thing apparently that happens a lot with music clips.

But Bratwurst?

Bratwurst is obviously the first single. They must've recorded more songs with Goodman than I thought.

Gotta say I do love all the tracklist spec. Makes me wonder if any of the titles are on the nose!

Love him or hate him, I think Noel Gallagher's got the right idea when it comes to developing as an artist. From about 2.00 onwards, he's pretty realistic about how his writing naturally changes. "Little things like banning the acoustic guitar from the studio helps a lot" and "if you're a good musician you should be able to turn your hand to anything", which is true and I can see why placing limitations can help make an artist more creative.

The most important, and in my opinion the most relevant quote towards Green Day, is that "its not about changing musical styles, it's about changing your mindset to not just fall back on what you've done before and know works. Throw it out there and see what happens." He's right, and I think it also applies to Green Day, they need to have a different mindset rather than still making a RevRad/21stCB/AI album. The trilogy has shown they can change their attitude to make fresher music, I'd love for them to freshen it up again.

Big’ol hot take here, but hear me out. What if Green Day’s releasing a throwback album/regular album(Songs for assholes)under the Sweet Children name?

If BITUSA is similar to what we’re getting to album 13, I’d be okay with that.

Yeah, Liam on the other hand has stuck a lot more to the Oasis formula (which I don't mind either, but it is less fresh). At the risk of generalising too broadly (and I don't mean either one is bad at anything), I will to dare to say (when at their best):

Noel: better songwriter, all things considered

Liam: better performer, all things considered

Either way, they'd still be at their best, together.
