But just goes to show how quickly these guitars went! Can't wait to see who bought this and Smashy! Now I'm off to ebay to find that stella Parlour model! 14 minutes ago, iWroteHoldenCaulfield84 said: I bought the one that sold for $650, thinking it was the FOD guitar. It is in fact NOT the FOD guitar. The FOD guitar showed up a few secs later, for $5,000. Still a good buy though!!! That's awesome! 31 minutes ago, iWroteHoldenCaulfield84 said: I don't see any of the Woodstock cabs........ My thoughts exactly!!! Where's PETE? Squashie
Just noticed this listed at the top of the shop description: *** Additional items shown at the NAMM show will be available for purchase early next week. Click the Add To Feed button to get notified when gear is added to this shop. *** So it looks like more will be coming... possibly the woodstock cabinets. I live in a house across from the water with 1/2 acre of land. I walk across the street to go paddleboarding and wakeboarding. That house cost less than that Gibson. Most of these guitars seem to have only a small markup due to the owner or what they were used for. I’m guessing this guitar is particularly rare or special for some reason? I don't know but I'm very surprised the red Gibson ES-137 went for the same price it originally sold for, $3200.

Les Pauls from that era are all worth that much (and more) because they were discontinued in 1960. They came back into production again in the late 60's due to Eric Clapton and other dudes using them. They were never quite like they were in the late 50's though. It's a long story really. But to some it up, yes there is a reason it cost that much and it really doesn't have much to do with Billie owning it. If you think that price is crazy, look up an original 1959 burst. You''ll plotz!
Jet Taman
Total as of 3pm EST on February 7th is $390,760. That's NOT including a few guitars (including that gold top Gibson) and a BUNCH of other stuff, so the boys had quite the prosperous day today. Congrats to them... I guess in a year you’re not releasing music or touring it’s nice to have a little income apart from royalties.

Chin for a Day
There was a guitar for sale for $350. The sold sign literally went up as my finger was going to press the buy button. So sad.

I saw the black Rickenbacker and wanted to get it (I was at the House of Blues show he used it at), but I looked at what else he was selling. 1 minute later Smash and the Rick were gone. Then I went to get the modded telecaster, that was gone. Same with the Squier telecaster. I walked away with nothing again because I didnt commit to the Rickenbacker when I saw it. Shame on me. 😂

kbuckk24
waited like 15 days for the green day garage sale. according to everything i read online, they had USED GEAR for sale. i got lucky and was able to snag the signed billie joe junior. sadly, it was the ONLY GUITAR not used in the garage sale.... Reverb didnt have any previews with the guitars and descriptions/ prices before the sale went live and everything sold pretty quick, so it was pretty much buy something in my price range as quick as possible. no way was i satisfied paying $2500 for a guitar only signed that billie owned and didnt use for anything, when he had another junior he used live sell for $2k. pretty bad on reverbs part for not at least having a preview with all the details available before being able to purchase. it would have been nice to have known what was what because the used gibson BJA junior was less money then the signed one and i was looking for one of his used guitars.SAD day for me as i returned it............
