No comparison.i loved the trilogy then and live it now.plus you cant compare them anyways cuz this isnt greem day. I want more green day. Fuck this . And hes promoting this new band thing so hard. Obviously anything Billie does is going to be compared to American Idiot, but now everyone is comparing everything to both Idiot and the Trilogy. I will like this record even after the next Green Day record comes and goes. Personally I'm not a fan of the album I like it but only "love is for losers" "Happiness" and "taxi driver". Maybe in the future I'll come around and like it more but its what Billie Joe wants to do so I cant be too mad, that's the reality of it were all gonna like somethings and not others. I hope in the future I can get more behind this band with future albums but for now I'm still on the fence. I do like the more laid back style though, its a good album to play in the background while im studying or chillin with friends. This is NOT Greenday this is a completely different band so can we stop comparing them to Greenday, They are going to sound different and have a completely different vision for what they want to be or do. This isn't a Green Day release, which is why "this isn't Green Day". I don't really think he's "promoting this new band so hard", he's posted about it on Instagram and they're doing a small tour- he's not exactly shouted it from the rooftops, gone on national television or anything. It hink it's already my tune of the summer 2018, it gives me life. Body Bag grew on me a lot after listening to it a couple of times, I wasn't a big fan of it before. The Goodbye To Romance cover is a thing of beauty imo. I'm happy with what we got and I'm eagerly waiting for the release of Devil's Kind and the announcement of a tour in Europe (please?!) And it doesn't even compare with 21CB I love all of Love is For Losers, all the songs are very catchy, but there are only 2 songs on there which I connect as strongly with (and love as much) as half of the songs on each trilogy album, on 21st CB and on RevRad. Also, if you have a genius account you can edit any mistakes you see in the lyrics.
