I then proceeded to obsess over his jacket and worry about him falling down the stairs (???) that were on the stage to get to the catwalk.

Omg I was screaming in my head STOP SHOWING THE CROWD BILLIE IS ON STAGE. LET ME SEE HIMMMMMMMMM! And when I saw that jacket? *Swoon* 

And seeing his cold red little nose reminded me of seeing them in the freezing cold in st. Louis and thinking how smart Billie looked in his coat 😏

Also he can't possibly be in his 50s. That's a lie. He's trolling us 😂 he just doesn't want to share his fountain of youth secret.

Billie hasn't aged at all. In fact he probably looks younger now!

Who was in charge of eyeliner again?  Just want to say great job getting it on Billie AND Tre for shows and even for interviews!  They really seem to be embracing it this cycle and it makes me so happy!  Makes up for the blonde hair (almost).

Yes! And I'm a greedy fangirl who wants even more! They were just in Toronto. It was the perfect opportunity to just absolutely smear it on! Toronto is the raccoon capitol of the world!

How come Billie's neck seems to be aging way faster than the rest of him? He looks younger than he actually is when it comes to almost everything else, but now looks like he has the neck of like a 65 year old or something.  It just doesn't fit in and feels like it came out of nowhere. 51 really isn't that old and I don't know what's up with this. Why am I so bothered by this? 😭 What happened? The ever forward march of time terrifies me in so many ways.

Weight loss is probably a contributing factor. He lost a significant amount pretty fast. My mom lost a lot of weight over the past year and while she’s happy about it, she’s sad because her face and neck are now much more wrinkly looking than they were just a year ago and it’s a bit jarring for her, because that’s not exactly something moisturizing can fix. She’s in her late 50s and her skin elasticity just isn’t the same. Billie also seems to be out in the sun a lot surfing and stuff, and sun damage can do that, too.

It is an odd experience noticing him looking slightly older (still on the young side for his age, but also aging more noticeably) for the first time in 20 years. He felt suspended in time forever. I took a couple years off from the band which I think makes me notice it a little extra, too. And then I remember I’m now 30 and look older too, lol. It’s all good, though. I think I’ve known since I first discovered Green Day that I wanted to get old with them. 🥹

I like this thought. I've always thought that they're the only band I've followed where I have strong memories attached to them in my teens, 20s, 30s, and now 40s (and hopefully beyond).

But yeah, I keep staring at his neck in interviews. (Had to end it on that note, didn't I)

C’est La vie folks, time catches up with us all, even Billie Joe.  I’ve thought for the last couple of years he was beginning to look a little more like his age but everyone ages differently.  I know my own neck seems to have quite suddenly turned traitor on me but that might be just my perspective 😂😂. Angles in photos make a difference but I’ve always said being too thin is ageing 😂😂.  Still think he’s massively attractive even looking more mature.

So happy to hear Billie say he loves wearing makeup and plans to do so for another 51 years!!  For a while there we were in an eyeliner drought and I was getting worried he’d given it up but nope, he just confirmed he hasn’t!  Thank you Billie!!
