Billie, don’t be sad! We will gladly keep having you perform AI in full as often as you want! 3

Experiencing AI in full was such an emotional roller coaster for me every single time ... and yet somehow I often forget that it makes sense that it might be as much of a roller coaster, if not a lot more, for the man who wrote it to perform it in front a crowd of tens of thousands of people singing it back to him line by line. 50 minutes ago, Undómiel said: Yeah I was a bit worried at the sentiment "might be the last time..." errrr why?!? Yeah I saw some people worrying about this in comments of the video where he says it might be the last time they do Dookie and AI in full. Maybe naive or wishful thinking on my part, but I just took it to mean he knows it's very unlikely they'll ever do this type of shows again. ~37 songs is no easy feat, and they are in their 50s already, I imagine last year's tour must have been very taxing on them. I didn't think there was a lot more to read into that. The day he says "this might be the last time we perform Good Riddance" I'll dissolve in tears though 3
Popular Post Undómiel
Just don't even tempt fate. Tbf I genuinely believe, like Beej has Bern saying for years, that Green Day will only end when "one of them gets carried off in a box" - so we're good for a while. Just stay healthy, whole, and loved boys. The world needs you. ❤️ 4

I didn't think there was a lot more to read into that. The day he says "this might be the last time we perform Good Riddance" I'll dissolve in tears though I think music fandoms have a tendency to worry every tour is the last one, even for younger artists. And I understand things happen and you never know what the future holds — that’s why I take in and appreciate every time I’m able to see them as though it’s the last time. But pending an unexpected bad event, I never think about the artists I like retiring or quitting music. The types of musicians I follow love what they do and I assume they’ll keep doing their job until they physically can’t anymore! All he meant was this was a special anniversary tour that they likely won’t repeat, which is what made it so special, but also what makes it sad that it’s over, I’m sure as much for them as for us.
