Pre-Dookie was pretty happy, there were no pressures then. But from Dookie onward, there was drama after drama until 2012. 2013 was still hard for him, then the personal drama of the band taking a break. He seems to me to be a very reflective person, maybe he thinks very deeply about stuff and it gets him down. He looks pretty contented these days to me so hope he’s doing well. How many people even knew he was there until later I wonder.
