That would have been amazing!! I hope we still get the Otis mixes one day :(

Interesting! I've heard a few ~things. Let's hope it's not all bullshit :ninja:

Do bands go all out on Greatest Hits tours? I see them doing like one/two gigs per country, kinda like the Emirates show during the trilogy tour. (outside the US)

I swear, if they do a GH tour when they didn't do anniversary tours for their two most iconic albums (I know Dookie was played in its entirety quite a few times during the 99Rev tour, but it still wasn't an official anniversary tour...)

They toured with B182 for two months when ISH was their current album.

Yeah I’m surprised Warning got selected over Waiting. I would have thought Waiting was a bigger hit?

I'm starting to wonder if I should pre-order at all. I think I'm only interested in the patches right now

Remember that's just what ISH was. It was a collection of singles (released on CD, Cassette, Vinyl, etc.). There wouldn't be enough songs. Singles from AI to RevRad are:

American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Know Your Enemy, 21 Guns, Oh Love, Let Yourself Go, and Bang Bang.

Only 11 Tracks.

you're either nitpicking or missing a couple. if a proper ISH2 was made and it included EVERY single from AI to RevRad it would go as follows:

American Idiot, Boulevard, Holiday (these two should be in track listing order, not single release order just saying green day...), WMUWSE, JOS, The Saints are Coming (it DID count as an actual single and it did chart), Working Class Hero (same thing as saints),  Know Your Enemy, 21 Guns, East Jesus Nowhere, Last of the American Girls, 21st Century Breakdown, When It's Time, Oh Love, Kill the DJ (lmao imagine they included it), Let Yourself Go, Stray Heart, X-Kid, Bang Bang, Still Breathing. That's 20 if you include the covers, 18 if you don't, and then those can be filled by RevRad and FN or new stuff. it is possible, it just isn't practical to include every good and bad single they've had since AI just to avoid crossover.

Not sure how much it matters to the list (can't cross reference cause  I'm in class) but Warning as a single charted, as opposed to Waiting. Then again, not sure it would even have to be a single to have made the track listening for GFB.

I wonder if there will be interviews/appearances with the release. They would I guess have to be after the last tour date, which is 11/19. I would love to hear the Billie/Miranda duet live.

and oh love is not a greatest hit

It was a number one song, so if you’re looking at numbers it was one of the greatest.

Kind of don't see the point in putting in material already on International Superhits, but seeing 2000 LYA and the post-Warning stuff on here makes sense. Honestly would've expected more from AI, like JoS. I mean, I'm most excited about the new song. Don't know what to expect from it but I hope it's good. Hopefully it's better than Xmas Time of the Year

A new one, with guest vocals from Lady Cobra and Andrew Scheps’ loudness war style production.

Sadly, after thinking about it all morning I think I have to wait. Too much family stuff going on and I have to stay on budget. I can hope that the patches bundle will be there in about a month :P

I didn't intend to miss anything, I swear that I just wasn't aware that the ones you listed had physical single releases.

Like others have said the non album tracks like "Working class hero", "I Fought the law", "The Saints are Coming" (Not the simpsons theme tune) should be on this. I'd have had all the singles they released from AI to RevRad plus the tracks mentioned above plus the one or too new songs or remixed songs. They could have released it on its own and as part of box set with international superhits.

They’ve been basically doing a Greatest Hits tour for like a decade now though. I don’t see how it would be much different than this latest setlist.
