I suppose there's always the possibility that 'Fuck these people' referred to Having a Blast... kind of the same theme!

Fucking hope not lol. Otisserie seems to be consistently not replying to questions about it on his posts so I doubt it.

@JardyOfSuburbia they really do remember how to play Having a Blast!

That has quickly become one of my favorite/underrated Green Day tunes. So happy we heard it soundchecked in Pittsburgh.

Oh fuck totally could be that. They could've easily called it that as a joke or even introduced it as a new song as a joke. My hopes of it being a real new song are fading

The pictures of the crowd made me cringe. I've seen funerals with more happy faces.  I just hope the boys know that all of us would have been a so much better audience for this.

Why is it so hard to believe it's a new song? They are a band and they write songs. Not too crazy to think they felt like playing a new tune at a low key contest winner's show that wasn't being documented.

They literally have a song called Fuck Time, but it's absurd to have a song called Fuck These People?

I think it's just the lack of evidence other than a title on a setlist that no one else that was there seems to mention. Just not verified enough for us skeptics.

If you believe they played all the other songs, based on the same piece of paper, why not believe they played a new one, once it's listed in the same piece of evidence?

I'm not saying I don't believe it mind you, just playing devil's advocate. The difference is people who were there also posted that those songs were played and we have video of two of them, so that's more verified. No one (except one in a comment that was not elaborated on) even acknowledges that a new song was played. Loads of people are asking about it and not one reply. There's just so little proof. I know they debuted the trilogy songs this way and would likely do that again with a new song, but if the set list is your proof why isn't Having A Blast listed when we know they played that? Is it not just as likely that Fuck These People is a descriptive funny name for HAB?

Hm look the way he sins, the way he closes his eyes and mouth. Its like Billie singing a song like brutal love and not something from the setlist that was played there. Maybe hes singing a new song here?

You're actually trying to guess the song he's singing from a photo? That'd be a neat trick. 🙄

For me, I just don't want to get overly excited about new material if it's not genuine, and it feels greedy wanting more so soon after Revrad.

YEah I dont believe it either, because a new song is too soon and too good to be true. But maybe the people were really asked to keep it quiet?

Sounds awesome! I'd love the new material to sound like Bang Bang. My favorite RevRad song and sound for them. That's enough to convince me. And his request to not tell anyone explains the silence. Sorry Billie, but I'm glad someone spilled so we can stop wondering.

FTR, many Billie/Green Day Songs havs titles that don't have the name in the lyrics. It's not a neccisity and in fact is a kin to when a film's name shows up in the lyrics. Basket Case, Longview, JAR, Geek Stink Breath,  Brain Stew/Jaded, and countless others.
