I think a lot of people assume he's more incapable than he is, haha. After he did the first one and couldn't immediately find the end button, I looked it up and it's not like it's not in-your-face obvious. Like if you've never done that before it can take a second, and he's just being cute by saying "where's the button that makes you go away?".

Billie is useless doing Live stream and making video of himself or whatever..but he is not really? he is just fooling around..or he just making people think he is. Agreed. Also, I think people forget that most people who didn't grow up with smart phones don't care about finding the perfect selfie pose or whether or not they'e using any of these social media apps in the "right" way. They're just there to have fun!

Regarding Billie and his supposed inability to use phones/social media properly. He's 45 people not 95. My retired parents use every form of social media in existence. It's necessary if they want to keep in touch with their adult children around the world and right before retiring, their business called for them to be capable. Nobody automatically knows how to livestream or use any form of social media etc. Everyone learns. It's extremely easy. If Billie was still struggling to use social media over five years after joining Instagram and six years after joining twitter etc I'd be extremely worried about his mental capacity. I'm not however because as most of us know he has a private IG account with literally thousands of posts. He's a social media junkie. He pretends to be useless because fans think it's cute for some stupid reason.

It's never been revealed on purpose. Some people leaked photos from it online and even posted clues to find it and/or the username.

His username was leaked online years ago along with photos. In fact whenever he changed his username it would be leaked again and sent all over the Internet along with pictures. Fucks sake I've seen his address sent around tumblr. If I were him I'd be worried about my inner circle. Way too much stuff leaked out over the years. Once one person gets it, it's like a wildfire.

It's a private account, there is nothing to see there or anything saucy to share about it and frankly, even if there was, I wouldn't post about it publicly, because the less people know about it, the better for Billie's privacy. There isn't much to it anyway really. 

I assumed it was him because of the account's avatar and a comment they wrote. It might not even be him, I thought it was Billie though, because the comment I saw was very similar to Billie's posts on his public social media.

I don't know, from my experience with certain people there's no limit to the number of times you can point out the same button   That said, as @Hero_Of_The_Hour said, he isn't that old and seems relatively familiar with technology, so there's a pretty big chance that his cluelessness isn't 100% genuine.  Though it did take me a while to get used to Facebook live, and finding a button is harder when there are people watching you, he's probably milking it a little.

But here we are talking about it.  So it's a decent publicity move.  My guess is that it's come as a result of the band looking at the news and realising how much shit is going on atm, that we are actually living in troubled times, and spotting the opportunity to promote the song and its current relevance.

Troubled Times is one of the few songs I actually like on this album and I sincerely hope it does become a proper single. It's genuinely relevant to current worldwide situations. Has decent lyrics. It would be a perfect option. It would resonate with SO many people. This video would actually be really cool if they can release it officially without being sued for copyright infringement by various news companies. It's extremely intense, there is so much going on that it takes multiple viewings to see it all. The nature of the content is in most cases shocking and thought provoking and fits perfectly with the theme of the song meaning the song is thought provoking. Perfect. Also it's done on a budget. A throwback to the 90's style videos yet looks really cool/vintage rather than cheap. I really hope this does become an official release.

They can get away with releasing it without copyright infringement if the news clips are in the context of a review, which I imagine is a fair claim since the video in a way reviews how terrible all the news stories are.  It would be great to have an official release of the song, and to see it live more.
