There was SO MUCH fucking potential. I'll freak out if those 45 minutes are everything we'll ever get from this gig...

Just now, Matt. said:

Haven't heard anything about "Forever Now". I'm guessing it was a misspeak but I could be wrong. By this point in a Green Day album cycle, they do things that don't make sense so I wouldn't be surprised.

Why are they doing that? A concert movie / live album would have been better. The revrad hype train has run it course....

First I need to find the number. Here's what they ended up playing (including the horrible breaks in between of course and the censorship)

Basket Case

Bang Bang

Holiday

Revolution Radio

Boulevard Of Broken Dreams

Youngblood

21 Guns

American Idiot

Welcome To Paradise

Ordinary World

Good Riddance

How do I complain?

They weren't given the rights to broadcast everything from the gig apparently? Still shouldn't have advertised a full set!

Pretty pissed right now.

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH THIS IS (trying not to swear)

Literally what is the point in advertising something only to not provide it?! Surely they would know if they don't have the rights to all the songs?! God dammit

We know why they didn't mention they weren't given the rights to play everything - because not as many people would have tuned in to hear the ~whole gig~

Should we put the blame where it belongs for not releasing the rights, though?

Okay so now Absolute Radio pretends to be the victim that wasn't given permission to play the whole thing, trying to turn the people's anger on the band instead... bad press for Green Day once again. Great.

Fucks sake. It's not that they didn't play the whole thing, it's that they SAID they would and they didn't. Nice try though Absolute.
