I loved that last chapter.  Especially that they talked to the kid that played on stage with for JAR, he is my neighbor (next town over) LOL

I am glad to have been able to experience their journey.  Wonderful band to see live, a can't miss for anyone.

Am  I the only one to be really excited about the pro-shot snippets of the Live Concert in Dallas?

Thanks for everyone who made sure that the videos were posted on YouTube for us non-US-peeps!

That last episode is so amazing! I loved the interviews with the fans who were pulled on stage, I could spend hours just watching fans playing with GD almost dying from excitement.

Man, that was such an emotional episode! This series is so epic, I'm sad they only made 3 episodes. Is this the part where we start a petition for Netflix to pick up the show?

There are 4 episodes, did you miss one?

Did someone know if it's legal to have a download link here.

I've got all  episodes and a big file with all 4 episodes combined.

I'm just wondering if I can  share them here or not

When 2 hours have passed and nobody's said "no" I'd say give it a go and the worst that can happen is mods remove the link. Meanwhile you've made lots of non US fans deliriously happy.

Yeah, what slightly puzzles me though, is that they used pro-shot recorded audio for the Dallas show (it sounded amazing, I really don't understand why the festivals always mess up the sound so much), but not for either NSSN, where that kid played J.A.R., nor for the show in I think Chicago, where that guy played When I Come Around. I thought they recorded all of their shows?

Maybe this flows better when you watch all parts together but 3/4 are actually Green Day The Early Years and then bam Revolution Radio tour with interview snippets with random fans who got to play on stage and five seconds of Ed Sheeran randomly chucked in for good measure I suppose to prove how punk Billie is by saying "fuck the Pope". Being 17 years ago he obviously wasn't wearing that Mary guitar at the time  This part just felt like a completely separate documentary. Certainly not an early years documentary. Of course we like seeing new stuff from the new tour but it was disappointing that part four was basically completely unrelated to the title of the documentary and just like and now we are doing this and it's great yeah. It is possible to just do a documentary about say Dookie and not mention American Idiot or do a documentary about the early years and not try to drag it up to the present day with a weird rushed segment at the end. And it was going so well...

Just got to watch the last part now, awwww, that was so nice. The acoustic version of Still Breathing is just

But I also agree with @Hero_Of_The_Hour that the jump from part 3 to part 4 was very big. It almost sounds like nothing happened between Dookie and RevRad, they mention Warning and AI in a subclause and don't mention other albums at all  So there should have been more parts of this.

But still, I loved the clips from the RevRad shows. And giving some of the kids who played with them on stage some attention was also very nice, I think. Loved this little series, I wish there was more to come!

I think that, in the first 3 parts, they only covered up to Dookie because, like the title says, it's only supposed to be the early years, and then the only purpose of the 4th part was to show how far they've come as a band and to show that they're still huge and they're still enjoying what they are doing. The 4th part just seemed kinda like a summary or something.

That kid with the pink hair was a bad-ass. He performed When I Come Around amazingly with them. :D

Yes, I was kind of confused too..why did they skip AI era it is one of G.D biggest hit album. what happen to that part, when Billie were naked at MSG? Remember they mention at end of Part 3, Billie and Mike were talking about it.

I thought it was weird part.. why did they interview Ed Sheeran and talking about Billie "fuck the Pope" what this got do with G.D success?

I think it was because Ed Sheeran is the biggest musician in the world right now, so they got him to tell a story about how Green Day inspired him to show how much of an influential band they are.

Do Billie or Tre or Mike knows or met Ed Sheeran?..

I thought that from sound of the interview of Ed Sheeran..they are using G.D success to make him self more popular? maybe I was wrong.

By the way..when did Billie said "Fuck the pope?"

I don't think they've met Ed Sheeran. And I doubt he was using GD's success to make himself more popular, considering that he is probably the most popular artist in the world right now.

Billie said "Fuck the Pope" at a show at Wembley arena on July 18 2002. That was one of the first gigs that Ed Sheeran ever went to.

The "interview" with Ed was about 5 seconds long. Less about how they influenced him and more about how much of a rebel Billie was by swearing. Maybe that seemed cool to Ed when he was a kid, a guy swearing about the Pope... my daddy won't like that. Including that in the documentary was almost embarrassing. To be fair it came off more like Ed Sheeran mentioned us, we must include it because he's really, really huge right now!!

Right!! What a great idea because what could make a documentary about the early years even less relevant to the point than even more interviews and footage about RevRad.
