My brother lives near Costa Mesa. Maybe he'll be the one to find it! Then he can meet Billie and ask him for me when the next album teaser is going to drop because it's driving us crazy 😄

Lol, let’s focus on getting the car back first 😜 Hope he can help or spread the word locally

If some kids have taken it for a joyride it could be trashed by now. Hopefully it isn't

That really sucks, seems like that car is very important to him and I hope he finds it. I always assumed the Armstrong residence would have a high security presence but maybe not? People are messed up.

Plus, why wouldn’t he keep a car like that in his garage?

I guess they’re still in the relatively normally living category as long as the super rich go, but I doubt they’d leave a car on the street?!

It seems that the car was taken in Costa Mesa, not from his home. They seem to be spending a lot of time in Costa Mesa; I believe one of you said they had a studio there? Of course they also need to be in LA now for the upcoming Super Bowl Music Fest. Still, you would think the car would be in a safe place, locked and without the keys around, etc.

Anyway, I doubt me sharing in New England will help either (especially since I am not really connect to anyone in that part of CA), but this sucks and I hope he gets his car back soon.

Oh wait, I have a friend in Dana Point. I'll tell her LOL.

I dont think we should start a man hunt for the car jacker. It’s likely someone who is a poor BIPOC and could end up getting murdered by the police. How would you feel if you got a future doctor or scientist killed by the police?

please think before you start a manhunt for an underprivileged minority like its the jim crow era.

ffs people we’re better than this.

What are you talking about? No one is going on a vigilante manhunt here, they’re just sharing the info on social media with any locals who might know anything it’s how investigations work. Calm down

Is that their practice studio? The one seen in the latest 1972 teaser and the Cover Ups live stream?

I agree that it is pretty concerning that one would assume that someone who steals a car must be a person of color. Also, there is no indication that the car was "jacked"; it seems that it was simply taken from wherever it was parked, and this was not a violent crime.

Having said that, I do want to acknowledge that Billie has other cars and will get where he needs to go regardless, given his station in life. It is still wrong that this car was taken and I hope he gets it back, but this is something he can withstand far more than say, a poor marginalized person who gets their one car stolen and now can't get to work to provide for their family. And what is worse is that that person would not get the media attention a celebrity does, nor would they be made a priority by law enforcement. I am curious to know how you would feel about spreading the word about someone in that situation.

Further, I am well aware of how fucked up the criminal justice system in the U.S. is and the systemic racism carried out by police everyday. I do not believe anyone here has intentions to put anyone in danger and simply wants to find the car. I am sure Billie already reported it stolen to the police anyway, so law enforcement is already involved. And I doubt anyone is planning on getting directly involved in this as a "vigilante," though I do realize there are unhinged people on social media and even here. At the end of the day, it sucks that the system is so unbelievably fucked up that you cannot comfortably reach out to law enforcement when you need them because you know their solution to everything is to just shoot first and ask questions later, especially when people of color are involved. There are no easy answers to situations like this, unfortunately. The only answer is to dismantle the whole damn system and build a new one.

Sorry, I have one more thing to say about this. My brother just reminded me he's actually seen Billie driving that car in Costa Mesa once a few yrs ago. I told him he has to find it!

Looks like the garage was broken into to get the car according to Nathaniel Mela’s Instagram story, sorry I don’t know how to post images!
