I can’t wait for Billie’s post about the Nimrod practice session if the pattern holds. I would love to hear them play The Grouch again. Last time he was asked he said he couldn’t remember it. Seems like now they’re making an effort to relearn everything for some undiscovered reason.

Fuck I can't wait for them to play Take Back. I will not rest until I hear him sing it one more time, one way or another. Catch me screaming that request at him at every single show I attend. He will wish I'd never been born. He will ban me from concerts, block me on social media. I will be there when he least expects it, holding up my "Play Take Back" sign as his bodyguards tackle me to the ground, killing me instantly

I'm usually really skeptical about stuff like this, but I am actually kinda starting to believe that these setlist posts are clues about something. I feel like only one of them is posting about each set list for a particular reason (which would explain why Billie deleted that repost of Tre's Dookie post). We all know they're no strangers to playing these games. Although what they're hinting at, I don't know. I'm not gonna get too excited about it, but I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled.

I'm not one for speculation, but, Tre posts Dookie, Mike posts Insomniac, so it stands to reason that Billie would post Nimrod.  What about after that, Jason joins them for a Warning post (his first tour with them), Jason Freese joins in for AI (his first), and Jeff for 21CB (his first)?

that's an amazing pattern, I didn't even realize until now that the Big Three joined one tour after another. However I dont think Jason W. will be posting anything on Instagram anytime soon. He rarely posts anything and doesnt seem to enjoy the platform much. I think Jason F. and Jeff would be more more likely to... but on the other hand, touring members don't seem to be a part of those band practices, hence their absence in the selfies...

Also, I think they're just having fun playing their albums in the studio . They probably play songs they don't play at shows all the time when they're just having random/not for a tour band practice.

I think they are probably just messing with us but it’s good to know they are reviving all this material.  I would love to hear Take Back or the Panic Song live. I think Billie has said often enough that they don’t want to or won’t go back and I don’t think they are usually into that but it seems that recently Billie has been in a reflective mode so who knows.  I’m just glad we are seeing something of them all.

It is a catchier title but not better in my opinion, so he doesn't have to regret it so badly 

Also, if they do an oldschool tour it might kill me.

So here’s a fun story. Green Day would never play Take Back so my band tried to play it at a gig once.

It was really really bad.

I'm trying to stick with being happy that they're playing together and posting these selfies and not get excited about anything that's 99,9% not gonna happen  But it's great to see them practicing Insomniac

If GD are posting Dookie (Tre), Insomniac (Mike) then possibly Nimrod (Billie) in the order they are released, I hope they don't forget to go full circle by going back to the start to 39 Smooth and Kerplunk. And they should include Shenanigans, JAR and BITUSA etc, too . I really hope BITUSA gets played live.
