They celebrated the end of the European tour right before the US tour began. And before that it was the end of another leg. Admittedly Billie getting the tattoo etc is like he's saying it's really the end of the whole tour but part of me thinks they just desperately want reasons to throw parties. I'm sure they'll have a party to celebrate the first night of the Latin America tour and a massive one to celebrate the end of it. They'll also probably have a party after the Global Citizens thingy in NYC. They can't help themselves. Opening any envelopes any time soon? Also probably more convenient to have a big celebration when they finish in their home state than when somewhere far away. I would want to like briefly stop in and then get the hell out of dodge, ya know? I'm not sure where you saw that about Billie, but I've definitely seen places where he has said stuff like that, though I think it may have been older interviews? I suppose you get used to it at some point I mean they've always got so many people around it seems. I think it's sort of unavoidable unless you wanna create a reputation as the rude loner who refuses to spend time with any guests at their own party. Maybe this is why he goes live on instagram when he's got people around. Most people do turn to social media when they don't know what to do with themselves in a situation haha (just speculating). I'm sure it helps that he's probably wired after a show and these are private affairs of friends and family so it's easier to be comfortable.
