Omg! That's a lot of cool stuff. Only a shame there isn't more video.

Does anyone recall when Billie explained how he picked people out the crowd to bring on stage?

I can't find the quote...

I don't have the quote but I think it included him saying having brightly coloured hair or wearing a cool band t shirt helped? Might help with finding it.

Dis someone know what happened with Tré's Mother? I was reading his biography and didn't found any info about what happened to her since she didn't return to California with Tré's Father and siblings

From what I understand, Linda did return to California with Tre's father and sister.

Quote

The sweetest thing in the world was the night she was born," says Tre's mom, Linda Wright, 48, a Willits, Calif., bookkeeper. "Tre held her all night in his arms. Every time she looked at him, he said, 'See? We're bonding.'"

Quote

I thought immediately of Frank and Linda's kid who lived down the road, because he was a lively, enthusiastic kid, let's put it that way.

So I recently got a drum kit with the same specs as Tre's, and I wanted to tune it like his current kit that he has used in Cleveland. Any tips or is there a video with each individual tones of each drum?

Anyone know why the Apple ALAC versions of the albums are horribly compressed? Kerplunk sounds terrible. This is in comparison with my original CD version. Christie Road: ALAC on top, original CD version bottom.

just what iTunes mastering does I'm only listening to clips as I'm not paying 1.29 for a song i own in multiple formats but the clips to sound Kerplunk sound good on my iPhone 6s + but however if played on a real system probably would sound bad nowadays they master albums for iTunes with the mindset that everyone listens to albums on iPods or computers

There used to be some really good quality videos of the last performance of American Idiot on Broadway (April 24th 2011), with Billie as St. Jimmy. They've been taken down from Youtube but I was just wondering if anyone still has them? I think the songs were Letterbomb, 21 Guns and Last Night on Earth.

Should have downloaded them before they went :P

I've got some videos of that show, but not all of them a great quality. I can upload they anyway. I have St Jimmy, Last Night on Earth, 2 \guns, Letterbomb and Homecoming plus the mini gig they did afterwards

Can someone confirm the correct release order of the first Green Day's EPs and LP? I was looking up at their wiki page (reliable?) and it says it's 1,000 Hours (april 1989) > 39/Smooth (april 1990) > Slappy ("summer" 1990) > Sweet Children (august 1990). There's no page about EPs at GDA from what I've searched.

Is it totally correct? Did they release Slappy and Sweet Children after 39/Smooth and 1,000 Hours before? I'm just interested about the chronology though, not the exact release dates...

1000 Hours, then 39/Smooth, then Slappy, then Sweet Children. That is correct :) I remember it being strange when I discovered it too, since 1039 isn't in chronological order :P
