Todd
Did anything ever get said about the pre dookie documentary? It's in the works.
Karl Karlson
I have a question, which might have been answered in the past, but I'll ask again anyways: At the end of the "Dookie Demo Tape 3" (after the 'Instrumental Outro') there's a snippet of a fast song by some band. What's that song?!
Slave To The Network
I've been gone for months and months. What's going on now? Have I missed anything important? Is Green Day currently doing anything that I should be aware of? I do know that they were inducted into and played at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, so I'm up to date on that, but otherwise I have no idea what's happening. They played a small show in Cleveland to warm up for the Hall of Fame, played a show at Gilman Street (!), and Billie and Norah Jones played a secret show in New York doing songs from Foreverly a couple of weeks ago. And Green Day are playing a festival in Kentucky in August. I think that's about it.

ghesboro
More of a linguistic question/clarification I guess, but I was re-reading some of Billie's quotes and I was wondering, in the "History will tell if we were really a good band or just a one day fly" one, shouldn't it be "flight"? Or am I just misinterpreting it?

Beerjeezus
I think "one day" is an adjective here though...I agree, but I've never seen anyone use it this way and because I couldn't find it as a phrase in a dictionary I tried to come up with something that sounds similar and would make sense in case the quote was misspelled...What do I know though ? Meaning one that doesn't have a good reputation or shady reputation.
StuckWithInsomnia
I asked this a few months ago but no one knew the answer and its still bugging me so I might as well ask againI can recall a video of Billie Joe from around the American Idiot era talking about when Green Day were at Goat Island in 2000, and him yelling "You're fucking up my view of the bridge". Does this video exist or am I tripping?
