Green Day Q&A Thread

I think you probably meant to post this in the Q&A thread so I moved it here. I also wanted to find the video the first gif set is from a few months ago and did in this thread, do either of the youtube clips (that were blocked in my country) or the download link that were posted work for you?

The second gif is from this show, I don't know at what point though:

No problem, you're welcome! Were you able to watch the interview the first gif set was from using any of the links in that thread?

Unfortunately, the first two links weren't available in my country either but I watched some of the interview in the "rare clips" video posted in that thread. Currently watching their 1992 show from the other link you sent! Loving it! Thanks again! <3

Aww shame as it's a funny interview. Worth downloading from the download link further down the page if you can/if you feel like it.

He played on a baseball team with members of the American Idiot Musical cast, that must be actor Theo Stockman's shirt.

Thanks :)

Anywhere which provides a detailed in-depth biography on Pinhead Gunpowder?

Have you checked out the biography on their website? Or are you after something more than that?

Is this a cover, or just an unrecorded song? Because it's one one of the tapes I found and I don't recognise it at all.

Yeah, it's a cover of a Fifteen's song, also called "C Yo Yus". You can hear it in "On The Radio", the live album that came out in 2011 and containing a 1992 Green Day radio performance.

How do you like it? I love the original. That entire Fifteen album is amazing.

Decent, but not too keen on the vocals (which, coming from me, is hardly surprising). I've definitely heard worse though.

All these bands are connected, that's what I love about East Bay punk. so really Fifteen's music isn't too far off from Green Day's. Jeff Ott formed Fifteen after leaving Crimpshrine, which was founded by Aaron Cometbus, who is Pinhead Gunpowder's drummer, and was Green Day's roadie on their early North American tours.

I listened to some Crimpshrine, I'm afraid I think they're my least favourite of them all. It is pretty awesome how they're all linked together though.

That's just four bands. Al and I were gonna make an entire visual showing all the East Bay punk bands of the era. Throw in Operation Ivy, Monsula, Isocracy, Samiam, the list just keeps going on and on

I must showcase how dumb I actually am ha. Thanx so much!

Anyway, what is Waba Sé Wasca? Just asking as the vinyl edition(s) of 39/Smooth has 'At the Library' re-titled as 'At the Library with Waba Sé Wasca'.
