Iva
As far as I remember, their evidence for Billie's "size" is that photo from the KRQQ Weenie Roast, and not actual interaction.
Hermione
I saw an article about Billie Joe and Tre being involved with groupies back in 94/95 onwards. Is there any evidence of this? Seems strange since Billie Joe would have been married. I saw the info on a site called "GroupieDirt" and everything else on that site seems somewhat legit Just curious The only comments about groupies I've heard from Billie are that he's never been interested in that side of touring/being in a band, even on their earliest tours. When asked if he's been with groupies he's only ever said no with eye-rolling disinterest (and sometimes jokingly added that he did marry one though , since he first met his wife at a show). I've seen the band express surprise that actual groupies at shows are even still a real thing in interviews too. Maybe some of the info on people on that site is legit, since there are plenty of genuine stories from rockstars and groupies out there, but I think a lot is crap as well. Since the fact that Billie has a small penis is common knowledge due to him showing it off on stage and Tre is known for making wacky/perverted comments in interviews and that's the only info there, and there's no other stories/evidence anywhere else, I'm pretty certain it's among the crap.

AlissaGoesRAWR
That was Tre's shouting at the end of Homecoming, I'm pretty sure. What exactly was the translation of that? All I can make out is "phone" and random gibberish...

tdlyon
Are there any other instances of BJ going into the crowd during a song besides Irving Plaza and the time he drop kicked that dude? I always love when artists do that.

Hermione
Are there any other instances of BJ going into the crowd during a song besides Irving Plaza and the time he drop kicked that dude? I always love when artists do that. Multiple times at every Foxboro show. Besides that I've heard he tried crowdsurfing at an early American Idiot tour show but got yanked down into the crowd by his tie and decided against doing it again after that (no video of it though). And he went into the crowd to stop a fight here (go to 5:40): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9hk-43QRlA I guess there's probably been other times that's happened as well. And this was on TV rather than at a proper show, but awesome none the less: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ylo_fFCQzHA

Thanks for the vids though I always say they need to bring back the runway - also pretty sure 21st CB tour in australia he did a semi circle run in the crowd - at acer arena he got into the crowd & I remember he fell off the stage once - but I don't know where that was.

At the first of the two shows I saw on that tour he was like three feet away from me.
Cruise
2009 ?? 2009 they did East Jesus Nowhere, Billie ran down the walkways and then got the crowd up onto the stage. In 2012 they performed (which they released as a single that day or the day before) on the floor then they called the crowd to join them. Both of them were pretty similar.

UnoDosLuke_xx
Did Green Day perform a tune named 'Gabriella'? Was it re-named or re-done for the trilogy? By the way, since I seen the quote on the back of a 'Kill the DJ' Green Day shirt, is there any particular specific meaning to the quoted line 'Take Pills and fuck the noise away'? I.e. this quote http://37.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mayp6lHZDt1rz71s1o1_500.jpg Would it have had anything to do with Billie Joe's addictions pre-meltdown? Also... Hermione
Did Green Day perform a tune named 'Gabriella'? Was it re-named or re-done for the trilogy? Also... I think it was a song that was on some of the old track listings for the trilogy that we saw (written on the wall of the studio etc) but that was never performed/heard. Were there also some lyrics for it? I know there was a bunch of photos of hand written early on lyrics of trilogy songs, anyone know if that was one of them or have the photos? As for that, the special editions of Uno Dos and Tre came with little books that had pictures and words to illustrate each song (just like an added note related to the song meaning). My brother has it somewhere but I can't find it so I can't look to see if that's from the Kill The DJ page there, sounds like it might be though. Does anyone have the book to confirm? If not I'll have a look when I can ask my brother where it is, but in any case it sounds like a line that illustrates the meaning of the song, doing stuff to block out the bullshit you don't want to hear. Sauli
http://www.greendaycommunity.org/topic/91778-billie-joes-handwritten-trilogy-lyric-sheets-w-alt-lyricstitles-a-few-new-songs/ There's the handwritten lyrics of Gabriella (the link above) and part of the lyrics ended up as the bridge of Amanda. "I'm not playing with your mind, unless you think I am", or something. I don't know if they ever performed it, or anything, though.
Hermione
Thanks! It's awesome to be able to read those, along with the earlier versions of the lyrics of other songs. Pretty sure they didn't perform it (although maybe it was on a setlist but not played?), I think it'd be common knowledge here if they did, and there's definitely no recording of it anyway.
