I know every song but I'm asking is there a certain moment when you can really hear the effect

Yes every song anytime you hear Billie's voice...

Start at :16 on Nuclear Family

And end at 4:44 on The Forgotten

Every song on the trilogy...

Does anyone have a link to an "a cappella" version of a trilogy song so I can hear it?

Makes sense. It's just difficult for me to pick up on it without the instruments being isolated.

Billie's vocals are not natural listen to Warning ( the last album that Billie sang with no filters) then listen to the trilogy

There were a bunch out before Rock Band too. Not sure where they came from, but one of them was Brain Stew.

Not disagreeing with you at all. Just saying I don't have a good ear to pick up on it. Musically impaired.

There were no GD songs on Guitar Hero.

There were quite a few of them. I suspect they were made by editing magic. It was a couple years ago so I don't really remember the type of quality any of them had. Imma sort my search by year and comb through Youtube videos for some.

Ahhh you're referring to DIY acpellas it sounds like

DIY acapellas aren't true acapellas and they alter the sounds of the vocals by doing that

No true acapellas were out before rock band

If they weren't allowed to play in Gilman anymore, how did they manage to do it in 2001?

I have a question about a live DVD called Wreck 'n' roll, obviously it's not official, but I was wondering if anyone had seen it. :)
It says it was recorded in 2009 at a private gig and in New York in 2012.

The tracklist listed is:
21st Century breakdown, Know you enemy, East Jesus nowhere, Last of the American girls, Murder City, Viva La Gloria (little girl), The static age, 21 guns, American Eulogy, See the light, American Idiot, Welcome to paradise, Murder city, Know your enemy, Nuclear family, Stay the night, Stop when the red lights flash, Let yourself go, Oh love, Holiday, Scattered, Burnout, Hitchin' A Ride, Letterbomb, When I come around, She, American Idiot.

It's an unofficial DVD with the Irving Plaza 2012 show and I believe Fox Theater 2009. Both are in the download links, I'd like one of these still though just to have a hard copy.

Thank you! Pretty sure they sell it at amazon, since we even can get it here. :)

Sneakily. Jason White's band The Influents was playing while the Green Day members watched in the audience, and they invited Green Day to come up and play for the rest of their set time. I guess they got away with it because it was done without warning, and during another band's set amount of time on stage that they happily let them share.

And most of the people that had all the hatred for them were from the last generation
