Hi

Who know who were the backing singer/singers on the "Church on Sunday" song?

Thanks

Richard

I think it's just Billie and Mike? Unless you mean Fashion Victim, in which case Benmont Tench was apparently a guest vocalist.

Hi

It must be my old ears but I am sure that I can hear a female voice doing some harmony's in the background.

But I might be completely wrong ...it has happened before.  :)

Thanks

Richard

Mike can sing some pretty high harmonies :D. But yeah there's no one else credited for singing on the song.

Where can I find "Hearts Collide," is it a b-side or on anything I can buy a hard copy of?

On Itunes you can find it on The Green Day Collection.

It's on versions of the Know Your Enemy CD single. It is also on iTunes if you want to buy it digitally. Please don't ask for free downloads here, that's illegal and the forum can get in trouble for that.

why isnt dookie or insomniac on metacritic? is there any way we can put them?

It's not really that big of a loss that Dookie and Insomniac are on there. Metacritic's scoring system is all kinds of screwed up.

What era did Green Day start bringing fans up on stage to sing/play guitar/do stuff?

Yeah I think so as far as playing, I've seen people brought up to play guitar on Knowledge at Nimrod shows but can't recall seeing it during Dookie/Insomniac. Then during Warning they expanded it to creating a whole band. I have also seen them bring people up to do random stuff during pre-Dookie shows though, can't think which ones but I can vaguely remember one where they got two people to act something out or something? Wasn't a regular thing but they did sometimes let people on stage or involve people during more informal/unplanned early shows.

Hey welcome to GDC. He's just letting you know he moved your question here to the Green Day Q&A Thread, where you can ask Green Day questions and hopefully get an answer. Better to ask questions like that here than to make a thread every time :)

Any word on if we're getting a soundtrack for Ordinary World? I want me a studio quality version of Devil's Kind.

You're welcome! By the way I'm quite interested in hearing the answer to your question as well. I know it can be hard to find out the numbers because they change all the time and wikipedia etc isn't usually that reliable for it. But does anyone know a more reliable place to find out Green Day album sales statistics?

Does anyone know if they've played Outlaws live yet? Or Revolution Radio? I can't find any footage of the first, and I haven't looked yet for the second.

Outlaws no, revrad is a live staple on this tour.

During Youngblood have they been replacing the 'I'm from Oakland' part with the name of the place they're playing?

I just think it would be cool to hear Billie sing 'fuck you I'm from Scotland' when I see them :P

I'm trying to recall my show Sunday night. I believe he let the audience shout it. If I recall correctly. (I did for sure)  it's iffy to do that I find cause it's such and unknown song to alot of causal fans. The smaller venues had the best crowd involvement in that part.  It would be cool to see a video from my show. If he said "fuck you I'm from London" would have been awesome. Young blood is my guitly pleasure. Just for that line.

He did for most of the European tour though at some shows he let the crowd sing it. I think he will say Scotland because it actually works. I enjoyed "fuck you I'm from England"
