Cool card.  But why idiot?  Why not imbecile, or nincompoop?  Not that I want to be called that.

Is Haushinka a real person? If so, what are the details?

Does anyone know why the fan club is called Idiot Nation?  Originally I thought it was because of American Idiot until I saw a video from the Nimrod or Warning era when it was the Idiot Club.  Why Idiot?

Damn, this is the first I've ever heard of this. I thought it was because of American Idiot too. Suddenly I like the name a lot less....

I think it was just a Green Day kind of thing to call it an "Idiot Club", fit well for a band with an album called Dookie out and a frontman who would wear a shirt with "stupid" and an arrow pointing to his face on it. Self deprecating humour. I believe it was just called the Green Day Fanclub for quite a few years after that though - then they brought back the Idiot Club name when it was relaunched with American Idiot. So it is kind of partly named after American Idiot.

Eh, works for me.  Thanks!

I know it's legit because I can faintly remember it from when it happened. Don't know exactly where it's from but I think it was while Obama was campaigning to become president in 2008.

Edit: Forget that, found an old GDA post that mentions it. It was at an Obama fundraiser in 2007:

Does anyone know if they ever pull out Pulling Teeth on tour? I've been infatuated with that song lately

Billie played it a few times acoustic in 2009, and they played it with the rest of Dookie in 2013. Other than those instances, it's never been played live.

I've seen people post pictures on instagram of their after show passes (where you can meet green day). Does anyone know how to get them? I assume that you can't buy them (or?).. Do you need to have some kind of connection to organisers of concert or what? I also think that they didn't have this on every show(sorry if it's wrong thread)

I would say you definitely have to know someone.

Does anyone know if the SNL musical guests are set for the season yet? I feel like with their tour and the very political tone of the show right now GD is just a perfect fit. And now that he's also an "actor" Billie should be in a skit. I'm sorry if this has been discussed in another thread, can't find it at the moment.

I like to think her name is Laurie L. Holding the symbol of murder in her hand.

That's what I always thought but then again wouldn't she be holding pills? Hahaha

Probably a really dumb question but has billie ever gotten Blue replaced?

He's had plenty of backups for blue and she's been heavily modified over the years but he still plays blue at every live show in recent years

Lifted from GSB so this might be bullshit, but make of it what you will:

There’s a legend that this song is about a girl Armstrong met in Japan. However, this rumor is not confirmed. It’s possible, that the song is not just about this one girl or anyone in particular, but about parting with people before you get a chance to tell them how you feel about them. And for the rest of your life you can only wonder what ever happened to them and whether they remember you and know about how you feel.

Impossible because the song was written in 92, way before Green Day toured Japan
