Thanks. I'd never seen him sing this bit live until I saw your videos. Perhaps he prompts fans to sing this bit during live shows so his kids don't hear him sing it :D

If he was worried about that he'd have to get the crowd to sing a lot more lines

Haha, true. Although those particular lyrics are probably the one that his sons would find the most cringe worthy:lol:. I remember reading an interview where Joey was asked about those lyrics :D, here it is: http://fasterlouder.junkee.com/we-interviewed-green-day-frontman-billie-joe-armstrongs-son-joey/840571

She probably assumed (as I did) you were asking when he last didn't bring a crowd member up on stage to sing a whole verse/the whole song.

Oh, I was probably too vague in my first post.

Yeah I thought you meant getting a fan onstage to sing part of it. When I was 12 I thought he was embarrassed to sing that line so got the crowd to do it for him

That's great . Given how used to Billie's embarrassing dad antics he must be I'm not surprised it's just kind of whatever.

(From Wikipedia of course)
Who are Sean Hughes, Raj Punjabi and Dave Henwood and how do people know they played in the band?

They are referenced in the bottom of the page. Check out references 117-120

Yeah, 99. Nice catch, didn't even notice him on there. Never trust wikipedia :P

Regarding Jason White I guess they're not including touring members, since they don't have Jason Freese, Jeff Matika or other touring members there either, so only included him after he played on an album. However in that case they really shouldn't have those early members who only played at random shows either, it's very inconsistent. I think it should be re-done with all touring members included (with whether they're just a touring member or not mentioned), unless they're only going to include people who've been credited as a full band member on an album.

That is so ridiculous!  The idiots who edited the page include people nobody has ever heard of who played ONE show or "jammed" before Mike even played bass but they don't recognise the current touring members or even Aaron Cometbus who has been credited by Billie himself on instagram as being in Green Day before Tre joined and playing "a couple of shows" with them not to mention touring with them most of his life as a roadie and being present at the Hall of Fame last year.

Someone needs to edit this stupidity.

This chart includes "official" members, and up to the trilogy, Jason was only a touring member (he is credited as a touring member in 1999-2012).
As for why these anonymous people are listed in the chart, that's a good question. It's still nice to know that they existed though. Should they be mentioned in GDA?

Are their concerts usually general admission?

This is a totally un-scientific answer, but I feel like they always play a venue with a sizable pit, whether that's a mid-sized indoor venue (I saw them Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, which you might be familiar with, since I see you're from Pennsylvania), a large festival crowd or secret show that's all GA in a smaller venue (like House of Blues in Cleveland). Although there usually are plenty of seats available for the non-festival shows (hell, even House of Blues had an upper seating area) I don't think it's possible for there to be a Green Day show without a pit!

You're welcome! GA is definitely the way to go if you've never seen them live! :)

Thinking we'll do one in the next couple days. Need to see what kind of schedule works for everyone and need to test out a new tool to record them.

Plus, ya gotta give the mods a break..  they've been working nonstop.  And those who donate, appreciate.  Not saying I donated yet but I'm going to.   (not kissing ass)   Just givin' it a lil spank as he walks by.
