Because why would he get that basic grammar right once in the studio and then proceed to get it wrong every single time he says it live? It's his own fault that I think that

My mind is blown that it's actually him on the recording though, good job at putting on a voice.

I think that (and most things that aren't strictly grammatically correct in songs) comes under poetic license/singing the way people talk. When pretending to be a posh-talking radio presenter it should be correct grammar though

But Mike says "I actually though they were broken" so who knows, I've definitely  heard him say broken before.  A month and a half to recover would be quite some bruising!

Man do you know how hard you have to hit yourself to break your own rib? That shit’s not easy. 😱. Whether it was bruised or cracked there’s nothing they can do for it anyway, it just takes time to heal so could have been either one.

ETA: Just watched the whole video and thes best story is the one when Tre tried to throw the tv out the window! So my question is, how many stories do we have of Billie getting his front teeth chipped over the years? I can think of at least three with the first dating back to Mankato in 1990. Then this one and the. A third time at a FHT show right? No wonder he finally got them replaced in the end.

so you guys know during woodstock during paper lanterns when mike switched basses and had that weird looking one with the v shaped headstock? i don't know the name of it. im building a bass and wanted to build one that looks like that and was hoping someone knew the name of it.

ok this really confused me so billie had a bill lawrence pickup in blue then the white .seymour duncan then back the the bill lawrence and then he got the black seymour duncan jb? could write out a timeline of this because im really confused with this

he went back to the bill lawrence between the white and black duncans? I didn't know that. I actually don't care much for the bill lawrence tone, the JB is so much better. I have a strat with an angled JB and I really like it but sometimes I feel like it's a little too clean, I'm thinking of putting a duncan distortion in it instead

if you watch the veterans memorial its after woodstock and he still has the white pickup, jaded in chicago was like a week after that and he had the bill lawrence again

hmm, I just watched a little bit of jaded and it's hard to tell. was the white one confirmed as a JB though? maybe it was something different and billie didn't like it so he went back to the bill lawrence and then finally settled on the black jb?

Wikipedia has her playing St. Jimmy from Feb 1-6, 2011, and Davey Havok playing him from March 1-15, 2011.

I still can’t picture it 😄 I feel bad for Tony Vincent though who was also a phenomenal (but different to Billie’s) St. Jimmy. When sales were lagging in 2011 and they asked Billie to come back did they fire Tony? Just bad luck that the writer of your play is cast in the same part as you. Good for him if he’s not bitter. I wonder if he was stepping down anyway.

I don't remember any mention of bitterness or controversy about it, Billie just came back for the final three weeks as a special way to finish the Broadway run.

I just watched the Geek Stink Breath soundcheck from Jaded in Chicago and there were a couple short closeups of Blue and it's hard to tell but I paused it and I think I saw individual pole pieces on the humbucker instead of the blades, so I think it's the JB

yeah i belive its been confirmed that he used the bill lawrence for jaded in chicago

If you paste the link and give it a few seconds it should automatically embed the video in the post. If it doesn’t I’m not sure how to fix it.
