mrduckygoosy
Oh does it? Knew it was something incorrect but didn't think to check. Still lonely not lazy Yes I'm pretty sure I know it is actually "lonely" but what "you're fucking breaking" would mean anyway ?
Spike
The booklet actually says "You're fucking breaking" I KNEW I WASN'T INSANE Yes I'm pretty sure I know it is actually "lonely" but what "you're fucking breaking" would mean anyway ? Like, breaking down mentally from the boredom the song describes. Or in my case dying from the boredom the song induces

Chin for a Day
Is there anywhere a video of American Idiot musicale in a good quality? Not that I know of. You can find it on Youtube, but not great quality. They did a documentary on the making of it called Broadway Idiot. It's quite good, you might want to watch that. UNICORN VOMIT
Thanks, is it worth buying? I think its worth buying. I'm happy to post you my copy & you return but that would be a nightmare & cheaper for you to buy. You could probably pick one up second hand now anyways.

UNICORN VOMIT
What happened with GD on 30/1/13 to have so many GDC'ers online. The only other thing I can think of was that when they announced their return with 3 small concerts.
Teenage Kicks!
Question About a line from dry ice Is it "To me it's the pain that's in my heart" Or "To come ease the pain that's in my heart" I think I read somewhere in a letter billie used to sing "to ease the pain that's in my arms" back in the day I forgot what the booklet says and I lost it haha

And, frankly, this line is not present on lyric sheets for both 1000 Hours and 1039 SOSH. There's this letter.
loveblondiebilliejoe
Thanks, is it worth buying? In my opinion, it's one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I've seen it at least ten times haha. So yeah, it's definitely worth buying to me. The first time I saw it I watched on Showtime, but then shortly after I realized I loved it so much that I wanted to buy it.
Panda
What do you think is the best and a plausible way to contact Green Day (preferably Billie or maybe Addie)? I'm not searching for an adress to write a love letter or a typical "fan letter" that won't be read anyway, but I don't have Facebook or Twitter... There's this letter. I hear BJ singing "come ease the pain that's in my heart" on the studio version but English is not my native language so I may be wrong of course. Edit : to be honest I actually hear "in my aaaaaare" hahahaha

Got stuck on this row. The underbelly would be the underside, or most vulnerable side of an animal. The underbelly stacked up ten high would mean they are all dead. So, I interpret that to symbolize an end. Just some trivia, Letterbomb is my favorite GD song to play.

The only other thing I can think of was that when they announced their return with 3 small concerts. No, that happened on New Year's Eve. I remember, because I was crying many tears of joy because I snagged tickets to the Pittsburgh show last minute after they canceled Cleveland. Then I swore "they better make it up to Cleveland, goddammit!" And they did, two years later.

The line before ('where have all the bastards gone?') says that all of his group have disappeared / left him, so i think 'the underbelly stacks up ten high' is pretty much a continuation of that. also, tying in with the rest of AI - I interpret the underbelly as a marginalised / vulnerable part of society that could be hidden, criminal or unpleasant (if thats the right word).

I can see that interpretation, but even with that, the underbelly stacked up ten high would symbolize an end. His friends have all left, so their "society" is all coming to an end. I think that fits in the context of the song.
