I'm afraid I can't abide these useless articles . Don't see the point in writing them if they're basically going to contain no information.

Oh I agree with ya totally

I just wanted to use a Boondocks reference with the good enough part lol

The 5 Best Moments From Forecastle Festival

The Replacements Find a New Replacement

We expected the Replacements’ late-afternoon set on Sunday to be loose. What we didn’t expect was an unannounced cameo by Green Day frontman Billy Joe Armstrong, who reportedly joined the group for a single rehearsal before happily gatecrashing their entire set. Armstrong played rhythm guitar and spent most of the performance by the drum riser, leaving the spotlight to Paul Westerberg. When Westerberg’s mic stand collapsed during the opening lines of “Can’t Hardly Wait,” though, Armstrong ran toward the front of the stage to help him out — and planted a kiss on his hero’s lips before back into the eaves. How punk rock.

The 10 Best Walk-Up Songs For MLB Players

Jason Motte, RP, Cardinals / “Brain Stew” by Green Day -
“Brain Stew” isn’t exactly a weird choice since it rocks hard, but for Green Day, it’s a bit surprising. I mean, they’ve got a great slew of music to choose from, and from those tunes, you’d think “Basket Case” or “Welcome To Paradise” would be the obvious picks. But “Brain Stew” is a thick punk rock song, and while I prefer some of the more streamlined material from the group’s catalog (I mean, if I want heavy stuff, I’ll listen to NOFX or Bad Religion), this song still manages to be one of my favorites. And its huge sound sounds even sweeter through loudspeakers

I've always hoped to hear Green Day as a walk-up song when I'm at a game, but I never have... but Brain Stew makes perfect sense! He's right!

Charlie Simpson: The music that made me - Deftones, Green Day, more

When I was at school, the album that I'd listen to repeatedly was Green Day's Dookie. I haven't listened to that album in a long time, but I used to listen to that a lot. It had great melodies. It sounded really fresh at the time it came out.

Haha! Amusing, and the fact that Billie was their first choice punk rock musician pleases me.

5 Seconds of Summer's Influences: 10 Acts That Shaped Their Sound

4. Green Day: "Green Day's on the radio and everything is alright," goes new song "Long Way Home," as 5SOS shout out one of their most seminal influences. "We were brought up in the time of Green Day," says drummer Ashton Irwin. "That type of music has influenced us so much." Irwin was born the same year Dookie came out, so it's pretty clear he's talking about the band's American Idiot comeback era. We're not too sure we'd be down with a political 5SOS rock opera, but in terms of hooks and arena swagger, they fit the bill.

What Your Favorite Late-'90s Band Says About You!

Green Day At some point, you dyed your hair an ominious shade of black/magenta/olive green and had a questionable relationship with eyeliner/guyliner for the better part of a decade. You wanted to be a badass, but more importantly, you wanted everyone to know you were a badass. You also probably had have a lifelong crush on Billie Joe Armstrong and are still in awe of his ageless genes.

Didn't do the hair or the eyeliner (did once have every 3rd fingernail black - adventurous, I know), but I think everyone's in awe of Billie Joe's agelessness.
