^ The Sweet Children EP is my favourite EP

I mostly disagree with that list except maybe Sex Drugs and Violence. But I was like "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!" when I saw Misery at number 3 :tired:

I feel bad for SD&V. I also cringed because of the chorus rhyming english math and science part, even though upon further reflection I can see how it makes poetic sense like "getting back to basics." The verses in the song I think are actually really strong, it's just impossible to get past that chorus

I'm just going to say it for someone else: see also Kill The DJ (I like the song but someone else was bound to say it)

The TV move was still in play in 1997, when Green Day checked into the Sunset Marquis to record their album Nimrod (the thrower was drummer Tre Cool). But the band also (allegedly!) pulled something way punker, according to the book Nobody Likes You: Inside the Turbulent Life, Times, and Music of Green Day: "it was strongly rumored than on Oscar Night in 1997, while acclaimed French actress Juliette Binoche was onstage collecting a Best Supporting Actress award … she had no clue that Mike Dirnt's buttocks were extended, baboon-style, over her balcony—she had the misfortune of having been given the room below a very restless bass player. Dirnt's turd plunked onto Binoche's terrace and waited for her to return home. "She was so pissed she tried to get us thrown out of the hotel," Dirnt said.

DISCOGRAPHY REVIEW: Green Day

GREEN Day are celebrating a number of high-profile anniversaries in 2014.

All the way back in February 1994, 3rd album Dookie turned them from a large act on a minor label to beginning a punk-rock takeover of the Billboard charts and inspiring a number of other consequent acts. Further down the line, September 2004 saw the band release American Idiot, which came out when the band had lost some of their star power and the LP duly made them stadium rock stars the world over – not least here in Milton Keynes, where the band played two sell out nights at the Bowl in 2005.

These high profile anniversaries are marking the band’s two best known records. But are these the band’s best albums, and what else should the band be remembered for?

Kerrangs top 11 worst songs by Green Day

http://www.kerrang.com/8205/11-songs-wish-green-day-never-recorded/

Can't believe they've said something bad about them :o

I can get behind some of those songs like "All By Myself," "The Forgotten," and "Last Ride In," but personally I like most of the songs they picked like "Restless Heart Syndrome," "Troublemaker," "Warning," "Nightlife" etc. Still it was an interesting read. I'm surprised Kerrang even posted something actually criticizing them.

I completely understand Nightlife; but Restless Heart Syndrome???! And MISERY? And even The Forgotten and Sex, Drugs & Violence. No, no no no NO.

Once again this is only based on what Kerrang thinks or likes and I started to believe some time ago that they're not as clever as they think they are 0VdPwdT.gif So I don't agree with most of that list :tired:

10 Bisexual Celebrities That Everyone Keeps Labeling As Gay Or Straight

8. Billie Joe Armstrong. Did you know that men who marry women can still be just as bisexual as they were when they were single? Shocking stuff.

Thought this might be extremely tacky being a list of celebrities but it actually makes a really good point.

Thank you! I hate having to explain to people that just because you married a female doesn't stop a guy from being bi.

I know this may make a ton of fans pissed, but I always say Billie's claim of bisexuality in the same light as I see his claim that 99 Revs is his best song. It seems like he was trying to make a point that you can love guys and love women in two different ways, and sort of used bisexuality to explain that. I may be off, but I always got the impression that it wasn't a genuine response.

I kind of felt the same, like he just kind of said it just to stir a reaction and get people to open up their minds a bit. Then again, I'm sure he's enough of a sexual liberal that he *would* have sex with a man, but I don't think he ever actively approached romance from a bisexual perspective.

Like he said in 2010, maybe he is bisexual, but in the end he decided the label doesn't and shouldn't matter. So I don't even like to say he's bisexual, I'll just go with what he said most recently which is that he wants to respect his wife and just be a regular person whose sexuality doesn't actually matter, to him or anyone else.

Whether he is or he isn't bisexual is not our business... even if he said it in public.

I would quote you both, but it is too difficult.

30 Bisexual Celebrities http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/31/miranda-kerr-men-and-women-explore-_n_5062456.html

Billie Joe Armstrong
Though he's been married to a woman since the 1990s, the Green Day front man reportedlyopened up about his sexuality in a 1995 interview with The Advocate: "I think I've always been bisexual. I mean, it's something that I've always been interested in. I think everybody kind of fantasizes about the same sex. I think people are born bisexual, and it's just that our parents and society kind of veer us off into this feeling of 'Oh, I can't.' They say it's taboo. It's ingrained in our heads that it's bad, when it's not bad at all. It's a very beautiful thing."

I honestly love everything he says.

Wore my GD tour shirt to the physio today - turns out not only is a huge fan he was contacted by GD management to do some treatments on billlie to help him with his voice - it didn't end up happening as their schedules didn't match up - I said that was because the f--kers spent most of their time in Sydney when they should have stayed in Brisbane & given us the secret show.
