I’ve always found it so cool how the guys in Green Day are genuinely close friends. Most musicians would do side projects to get away from their regular band mates, but these guys choose to do their side projects together, lol. Their chemistry is easy to take for granted, because I always feel so weird when I read stories like, “X band fired their drummer and he learned about it through a text!” I’m like lol…how does that even happen? The relationship can so easily just become business and thankfully GD reset theirs and seem to have maintained it. I love the friendship side of them, love hearing these things.
