It’s the one in the MTV Dairies for the Pop Disaster Tour.

That’s the kitchen island where they brought home Speedy the fish and put him in his bowl 🙂

Am I the only person just sitting here thinking about how awesome it is that a fish's name is "Speedy"? 🤣 Anyway, sounds like I need to go watch this LOL.

13 Bands Who’ve Made Use Of Unusual Instruments

Green Day – Vibraslap

Green Day started straying beyond their original three-chord pop-punk remit on 1997’s Nimrod and even more so on the 2000 follow-up. The hard acoustic-flavoured Warning featured a full complement of horns, with Billie Joe Armstrong also providing mandolin and piano. Even better they also incorporated something called a vibraslap, credited in the liner notes to guest musician James Creepies. Not only does this have the greatest name of any instrument ever, it’s a modern-day version of using a donkey’s jawbone as a musical instrument. True story.

This isn’t purely GD related if course, but sad news for music fans in UK.  They had some great GD covers and articles over the years.

Q Magazine to close after 34 years https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-53477377

Oh no.  Does anyone have their most recent Green Day articles archived?  GDA only goes up to 2016

Sad stuff. Ive had a soft spot for magazines since Gamepro shut down here years ago.

Magazines were a great way to get information when I was growing up. Didn't have to wait 5 minutes for a page to load!

They show through 2016 for me?  There was that one from this year that still needs to be added though.  Not sure who updates that over there.  @Hermione?

Yeah sorry I edited my post. The links work fine but 2016 is the most recent scan.

I think those songs are getting heavily licensed by Warner to recoup some money.

on itunes there is a song called "hondra" that says it features Billie Joe, but it sounds like garbage and I don't think he's really featured.

by 1VIDA, featuring Billie Joe Armstrong, Rappek, and about 25 other people I've never heard of.

Anyone else seen this?

It was subtle/low-volume, but yep, I just heard it. Got their money, indeed 😄
