Popular Post Thatsername
From Kerrang, posted today: "Billie Joe Armstrong Has Written Six New Green Day Songs While In Quarantine" “I’ve been writing a lot of music, and I had all these melodies in my head, so I wrote, like, six songs since all of this has been going on,” he says. “I don’t know when I can get together with Mike and Tré, but I told them to make sure that they’re quarantined for now, and then I hope down the road we can get back in the studio with [Father Of All… producer] Butch Walker.” https://www.kerrang.com/the-news/billie-joe-armstrong-has-written-six-new-green-day-songs-while-in-quarantine/ 5

So the Green Day Vienna gig is officially cancelled. I expected it, but now that it's happening, I'm still sad. More cancellations will follow within the next few days, I guess. Edit: Sorry I should have posted this in the Hella Mega thread, I didn't even remember we had this one. Why post about this at all? Do you think this is news? Did you think it wouldnt be cancelled? No need to get so ugly in a world that's ugly enough right now. No one except for U2 writes songs about the sun shining and birds singing so better love yourself shit. Feeling lost and broken is the inspiration that's had put the spark of ideas into the mind of many, many musicians. Including Billie Joe.

Yeah, those times seem perfect for inspiration and being creative but what I mean was he is always creative and can produce something in every mood or circumstances, experiencing the artist block so common but it usually happens to painters or designers, I think. Most of them always have that lol It was my observation at least when I used to be around them all the time but I’ve always found writing music is more interesting than all the other art forms so always wondering the creative process.
