Jon Benjamin
^^ this is just stupid...Uh how... This could be the Cuatro with more footage. Even if its not, everyone else gets a chance to have it now. Plus I like the artwork.

If any album of the trilogy has a chance it's Tre.
Hero_Of_The_Hour
Call me pathetic (call me what you will lol) but I believe Tre is a fantastic record and it is a tragedy that it has been the victim of circumstances and ended up so overlooked therefore if this was legit I would buy it despite having bought the boxset (therefore already having Cuatro). Hell I would buy Tre ten times if it means they would play DRB live!

You're making fun of a website that contains funny picture and comparing it to the "master race" site that's full of child porn, gore and much, much worse. Popular Post ~ Walking Contradiction
Larry Livermore answered some questions on Punknews.org and a couple of them involve Green Day I realize Tre is awfully busy these days, but are there any plans for the Lookouts? For example, might you release the B-sides from the IV recording sessions (such as your cover of "House of the Rising Sun")? You were right when you said that the Lookouts were really hitting their stride by the IV EP, so it would be great to hear any material that still exists. Larry: Yeah, we talk about a Lookouts reunion every couple years, but nothing ever seems to come of it. Tre's actually pretty into it, or at least he's said so several times, but Kain lives in Hawaii, and hasn't been involved that much in music for a while that I know of. We'd like to re-release all the Lookouts material from Spy Rock Road on, including the 7"s and the compilation tracks, but it seems to be one of those things that maybe will happen one day, or maybe not. But the outtakes from the IV sessions that haven't already been mixed and mastered are probably lost now, because they were on analog tape that may no longer be salvageable, if in fact anybody even knows exactly where it is. Interesting trivia point, though: the IV sessions in 1990 were the first time Billie Joe and Tre ever played music together (as some of you may not know, Billie played guitar and sang backup on three of the songs, plus a couple other songs that later appeared on compilations). I recently reminded Billie of that and he was all arguing "No it wasn't!" but eventually he had to admit I was right Why weren't Tre's parents freaked out that a guy pushing 40 wanted to start a band with a 12 year old? Were you actually friends with his parents before hand? Larry: Tre's parents were my closest neighbors on the mountain, only a mile down the road, and yes, I'd known them ever since Tre was a little kid. Well, an even littler kid. I think he was 8 or 9 when I first met him.
Todd
Check out this crazy article I found by James "Brain Stew" Washburn (James, Put Down That Skinhead) (Y'know, that guy?) http://gimmesomethingbetter.com/excerpts/james-washburn-injury-report He mentions Green Day, and their 1995 tour. It's not new, but it's a great read for anyone who knows who he is

Todd
Wow, very interesting read indeed How did Mike know him ? James was their #1 roadie. If you listen, he's at KALX 1989, he was their biggest fan from the start. I found that because as I was searching the internet for him, hoping to find some contact info so maybe I could arrange an interview with him. How cool would that be?
