Of course if GD charged more like some of these other bands they would earn more (also might draw more if they had a big expensively produced show like U2). Hard to say though. It’s also misleading because it’s a snapshot of a given time period where some bands might have played twenty shows and others fifty or more. It also doesn't say the time period, whether it was just north america or internertional combined, for collecting the numbers. For all of 2017, GD toured, what 9 months and only made $9 million? That seems way off. I thought there was a billboard article back in January that listed GD's south american tour listed as $9 million alone in gross profit (before expenses).
gaslight13
I can't imagine they had access to a list of all their expenses so I would guess it was gross but yeah the tour amount seems very low unless it actually is net somehow. But whatever. This article lost my respect when it called U2 "veteran rockers" but GD a "legacy act". Why can't GD be veteran rockers if you're going to call attention to their age?
Squashie
Found the billboard article from December 2017 talking about the Rev Rad tour. Says the gross falls in the $70 million range (south america was $6.2m gross), so maybe that's an estimated net that they are reporting now 🤔🧐
Squashie
This describes how they came up with the numbers for each act on the list: https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/8466168/highest-paid-musicians-methodology-money-makers-2018 Touring revenue was figured at 34% of the boxscore for each act/artist (after management cut).

Sarcasm
I love the NLSS, and sometimes they talk about Green Day. A couple of weeks-ish ago, NL starts his show by talking about how Tre Cool is his least favorite person on planet earth. Starts around 4 minutes. Keep in mind that it's all jokes. But I may have to wait to get it I was hoping that would find extra Wrigley merch and list that for sale. I really wanted the pin set and poster. I was pissed they didn't mention beforehand they would have special merch for the show because if they did I would've went out of my way to go down there to get it even though I wasn't attending the show.

Here is the video for you to remember: Well, now, here is an article about the baby and the guitar with pictures of both! (The article is in french, sorry.) http://www.tvanouvelles.ca/2017/10/20/green-day-donne-une-guitare-a-un-bebe-quebecois In resume, Alexandra was 14 weeks pregnant when she went to the concert. She gave birth a few weeks ago. The baby is girl and she was named Emilie-Joe. Alexandra will give the guitar to Emilie-Joe when she will be older just like Billie asked. (Sorry to quote myself.) Randomly, I came accross another article about Émilie-Joe. It's old from last fall and in french again, but there is a video of the baby with the guitar. https://vingt55.ca/blog/video-emilie-joe-recoit-sa-guitare-autographiee-par-green-day/

I don't know about the baby but Billie loves his name, he might pretend he doesn't but he's obsessed with talking about it and easily could've just gone by Bill or Billy if he wanted to so I think he clearly does . I think most people with unusual names like having them but even if she doesn't she could just go by Emilie when she's older if she prefers.
