Yeah, I was laughing at the best smog testing facility and best therapist ones.  

I voted for GD (and also love that of the four bands nominated, two have Armstrong men in them; need to get Mt. Eddy in there next year), Rudy's Can't Fail, and Hella Vegan (nothing to do with GD, just went there when I was on vacation last year), and left the rest blank.  I was thinking the same thing about the ones you mentioned.

Green Day are famous for having genuinely warm relationships with their fans and often taking them to the stage. You can see from the guy's attitude that he was having the time of his life.

There are several steps to becoming a Professional Fan. Firstly, you must go to lots of shows. The band have to know you'll show up before they hire you for Every Fucking Show. Then, you must first gain a following of haters. You can't just claim to be a Pro when you've never been called Entitled™ or a Trust Fund Baby™. You may be able to achieve this simply by existing, but I recommend telling line cutters off in an English accent, and mentioning that Billie Joe remembers you. With these methods, new haters are guaranteed.

Once you are proven to be reliable and a good source of drama, you can become a Professional Fan. Don't worry about where to apply. The band's recruitment team are very good. Before you know it, you'll be on Every Fucking Show.

(that's not me in that article though and I'm quite sad, because that quote would go nicely on my CV)

Thw English accent might be a bit of a problem but otherwise it sounds like a deal. drama queen is my middle name. I just need to go to more shows

idk for sure since he's no longer with them and her hatred for FF is current, but you KNOW she can't handle FJM's faux(?) pretentiousness and probably takes his entire persona as a slight to her personally

So, it seems Amedeo Cicala, Viggiano's mayor in Italy, officialy invited Billie to visit the place following his discoveries of his italian roots.

The Italian fans must be so excited, this seems to grow each day just now.  How amazing that the Fiatarone's came from the same town in Italy as Billie Joe's grandparents!

It gets better and better. Here is a message from the son of Billie’s music teachers The Fiatarones, explaining how he only recently discovered their Viggiano connections:

We received a statement from James Fiatarone, son of Billie Joe Armstrong's first music teachers, thank you who also recorded his first song. In the next few years, it is possible to read his words about the Italian origins and childhood of Billie Joe: " may life be more incredible?? My grandparents come from a remote town called Viggiano (Pop. 3000) in Southern Italy, in the lucania-Basilicata region. My grandfather emigrated to America when he was young and settled in Fresno California; later he took his bride to the same city, from viggiano to Fresno, where my father, James J. Fiatarone. Historically, many musicians, especially harp players, and manufacturers of musical instruments, in particular violins and harps, started from viggiano and emigrated to different parts of the world.

Many years later, my mother and father founded and worked in a music and school store, the fiat music company, in Pinole, California. My Mother, Marie-Louise Fiatarone, a jazz musician and pianist, child prodigy, still works there today. One day, in 1976, a four-Year-old blond boy with curly hair came in holding his mother's hand. I used to work there. My Father said, " who is this little guy? Looks like Shirley Temple!". " this is Billie Joe!". she answered her mother. " you should enroll him to take lessons " my father answered: " there hasn't been a Shirley Temple in 40 years. If she can sing it will be a star ".

A year later, Billie Joe recorded her first record, "look for love", a song written by my parents (on that recording I play guitar). Billie Joe continued to study music at my parent s' school. She took singing lessons from my mother for another 8 years, and then she started taking guitar lessons from one of the other teachers at fiat music. During this time he was performing in many shows and visited the convalescents and paediatric hospitals. She was their star. More in Billie Joe founded a certain rock band that would become known as Green Day....! at his last concert in Oakland In 2017, Billie Joe went to my mother, who was at the show, and said: " Beautiful music is God's language. That's what mr. Fiat right? I say it every time I do a concert in Italy, and they love it ".

[recently] I received an e-mail from my cousin from viggiano, with an instagram post by Billie Joe where he said he found the birth certificates of his greats and where he asked Italian fans if they could help him with tradition. Apparently, Billie Joe's greats were both born in the same small country of viggiano (I don't even know if my parents knew) in mid-800 and emigrated to the United States. His great-Great-Great-grandfather, Pietro Marsicano, established himself at Berkeley, CA. A few miles from where my family lived. He had a son, Andrew, who had a daughter Frances whose son Andrew "Andy" Marsicano would be Billie Joe's father. Andy took Billie Joe to the fiat music concerts and sometimes played drums with my mom and for the convalescents and children!. Birth Certificates published by Billie Joe are signed d a priest and by the mayor of the country of the period, assigned birth And Baptism, and address.
