I love the hard times, they're always so on point

I love the "one user who reportedly still argues about who is punk or not online"

I'm in my university's marching band, and this past week we did a Green Day show. If any of you want to view it, here's the facebook link!!

Setlist: Bang Bang, Holiday, Still Breathing

:runaround:OMG!!! You're in the Fighting Gator Marching Band!?!  I love it! Two of my favorite things: Gator football (even if the offense sucks this year) and Green Day!

Yes! This is my 3rd year marching! When they announced were were going to do a Green Day show I flipped out!

(We are honestly awful this year haha. It's going to be weird not traveling to Atlanta for the SEC championship...but at least I'll be able to focus on school a little bit more!)

Emilie-Joe :lol::wub:

I thought it sounded weird at first, but now I'm ok with it. I guess I'm too much used to hear or read «Billie Joe» everyday. I'm imagining the kid later explaining at school why her name is Emilie-JOE.

I sent the article on Twitter to Billie. I hope he sees it. It would be great if he sees it and reactes to it.

There was one part during Holiday where we all shouted "hey!" and I always added an "oh!" at the end of it

“One particularly entrepreneurial aging rockstar”- bloody cheek, and not even a pic of lovely BJ, we should all comment that he’s the one who looks best with it!

“No, the bigger question here is how did Armstrong, of all people, get to become the face of guyliner—and in 2017, no less?”

Rude. It’s because he’s Kat’s friend and it made sense and he’s probably giving less of a shit about things like this than he did years ago? :tired:

I mean it's makeup. I don't think one person can be the "face" of eyeliner, so I don't get why the article is making a stink about it.

Sounds like a jealous non-fan had to fill some column inches, few men have worn it as well or for so long. They even missed the point that this smudgy eyeliner, more poor “journalism”.

It's also because he's the king of eyeliner and still looks more stylish than 99% of people in it

That's where my "makes sense" comes in. Everyone else are cheap imitators :tired:

Interesting interpretation of this song, hahha...

http://www.rrdailyherald.com/opinion/enjoying-lyrics-of-autumn-songs/article_56e2fb88-b8d2-11e7-8735-2fdc5f9dfcb9.html

"I really enjoyed the lyrics to “Wake Me Up When September Ends” by Green Day. This song follows the notion of the seasons like ages of our lives. Spring is childhood. Summer is teenage and young adult. Fall brings more experience and adulthood. Winter, of course, is for growing older. The song references the innocence of summer that doesn’t last and the end of September when we become who we really are."
