Didn't their YouTube account used to have way more subscribers a few years back. I vaguely remember something about their account being hacked and they lost all there subscribers, so they had to start from scratch.

After 16+ years of existence, Green Day's offical YouTube channel has now reached and surpassed 2 Million subscribers!

It gained about 1 Million subscribers since May of last year 2016 (750k subscribers during the RevRad era alone).

Total views on all videos also reached 1 Billion in october of last year and are now at 1.25 Billion.

YouTube has only existed since 2005 :P

And yeah I seem to remember something about it starting again but I'm not sure. Cool that it's at 2 million anyway though!

Yes, the subscriber count is still at a new high, because shortly before they lost all subsribers in early 2014, they had around 1.2M subscribers. So, since then they've managed to claw that back and reach 2 Million.

Also, the number of views was never reset, so that's always gone up steadily...

I join in the fun and jokingly ask Cool why Green Day never added a DJ or rapper into their three-strong mix, which has never strayed from him, front-man Billy Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt.

That's a good example ... We were very careful not to jump on any sort of sonic fads ... We left all the cheap tricks to other bands that have long since gone."

I love how they just conveniently forgot that Nightlife exists, I wish I could do the same :)

Somebody's added a Deluxe Edition to the Revolution Radio wiki page

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolution_Radio#Deluxe_edition

I don't think it's legit because there seems to be no sources or information about this "Deluxe Edition". If it is legit, that's pretty cool but I doubt it

must be bs...but it seems awesome...

Have they even played Troubled Times live?

I did some checking and whoever added that edit is from the Philippines. I think I'll remove it and add a note to anyone who adds it back to put a source.

Okay somebody's clearly trolling.

They did play TT live.  I believe it was in Paris.

I think they played Troubled Times twice with the live debut being in Amsterdam, then they played it again in Brussels, Belgium. After that, they dropped it.

I won't actually be too surprised to see a RevRad deluxe album considering we saw a pic on Insta of Green Day recording stuff in a studio in Australia.... Would love it though!

 They blew it with the Blink 182 and Sum 41 covers. Also why would "Untitled New song" be on a tracklist lol

C'mon now.

Yes I think it is a very pretty little song and does a great job of settling people down after a roller coaster of a concert
