Musicians and Their Meltdowns: How Stars Have Handled Their Televised Snafus

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong completely broke down during the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which ultimately became the indicator that he had been struggling with alcohol and prescription drugs. While his band was performing, Armstrong noticed a one-minute cue and started freaking out onstage that Green Day was getting cut early.

"You're gonna give me one minute? I've been around since f--king 198-f--king-88, and you're gonna give me one minute?" he screamed. "You've gotta be f--king kidding me! I'm not f--king Justin Bieber, you motherf--kers!"

Armstrong smashed his guitar in his fit of rage, and the next day he checked himself into rehab. He later opened up to Rolling Stone about the public ordeal, saying he hardly remembered what happened.

"The next morning, I woke up. I asked [my wife] Adrienne, 'How bad was it?' She said, 'It's bad.' I called my manager. He said, 'You're getting on a plane, going back to Oakland and going into rehab immediately.'"

"I couldn't predict where I was going to end up at the end of the night," Armstrong told the magazine of his addiction problem. "I'd wake up in a strange house on a couch. I wouldn't remember how. It was a complete blackout."

I don't know that I'd go as far as horrible but yeah not #4 worthy.

Also, was Bachelor really that good?

Better than Twenty-one Pilots and blink-182 in my opinion. California is a forced reboot of Take off Your Pants and Jacket. Anyways, those lists are mostly useless. AAA releases always get into the top 20.

Green Day ushers in Italy's 2017 punk explosion

The 2017 live music scene starts with a bang. With a punk explosion to be precise: Green Day, undoubtedly one of the most influential rock bands of the past 20 years, will arrive in Italy just over a week after the start of the new year.

Its four stops on the peninsula will kick off its “Revolution Radio” tour, named after the band's 12th studio album, released in October. On January 10, Green Day will play the Pala Alpitour in Turin; on Wednesday the 11th, the Mandela Forum in Florence; on Friday the 13th, the Unipol Arena in Bologna; and on Saturday the 14th, the Mediolanum Forum in Assago (Milan).

^ I've known for a very long time that I'm in deep, but choosing Billie's zodiac sign without hesitation solidified that.

How do they figure AI only has 9 songs on it...

I guess that Itunes lists some songs together, so that might be it.

As well as 9 songs on American Idiot I'm bothered by Sweet Children and John Kiffmeyer being called "original" name/drummer (pretty sure they had other short lived ones before them), and also Mike's bass making a "dirnt" sound (pretty sure it was him making the "dirnt" sound imitating a bass). I only do these quizzes to find the inaccuracies

I know Billie's birthday, I just had no idea what sign went to it. And yeah, the inaccuracies were annoying.  It seems the quiz didn't know Green Day all that well, so what was the point?   Haha.

sort of Green Day related?

Billie Joe's brother Allan was in a news story about a road washed away in Pinole. He was on quick about what he thought about it.  He is at 1:15

Does anyone know why in the VH1 documentary about Billie's life Alan is listed as Billie's stepbrother? I've always wondered that. I they blood relations or not?

They have the same mother, different father.  So technically, they're half brothers.

He finally got it fixed? Part of me is like yay, but part of me is sad. That's what made Billie Billie!
