I guess it could have been Jeff's friend but he's not a very good friend then if he posted a video calling him Green Day

Tré has Facebook people can see? WTF? That's weird on all levels.

But him and Steve Aoki possibly working together? WHOA WHOA WHOA. How come nobody else is excited about that? :o :o

Steve Aoki played a few festivals with Green Day in Europe this summer, so that's what that connection is.

I guess I never bothered to look at line-ups. Thank you. :)

Just awesome. Then again, my mind drifted even further away and I imagined Mike and Tré doing an improv with Damo Suzuki on vocals. Would be really interesting.

This. And it sucks because I'd love to do it for Holiday♥

They only want it for fans to appear on the magazine, or there's a bigger project going on? :ninja:

Well, who's getting scans for us this time? Maybe I'll try and be 2-for-2 with Kerrang. It worked out the last time!

It's not exactly news but I couldn't find another thread to post this...The other day someone on Twitter asked Ed Sheeran "what age did you lose your concert virginity and to whom", and his answer was "green day in 2001".

I don't like the guy, someone else retweeted it and I thought it was interesting

I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this, but on an episode of Franklin and Bash, they talked about Green Day a bit :)

Bash (i think) had a title written in the sand that said "Don't Go, Hate You Going" and was singing a song he had written, and Franklin said "Sounds exactly like Green Day song" He continued to say "That sounds like Green Day's Good Riddance" and Bash responds with "What? They don't have a song called Good Riddance!". they argued about it a little bit before Franklin walked off.

That Tre video was posted before but it was made private and then removed...wonder if this was uploaded by a fan or something as I'm guessing Tre didn't change his mind on the permission. Huh.

It was made public by the same person who had posted it, one of Tre's golfing buds.

It was made public by the same person who had posted it, one of Tre's golfing buds.

As I remember it when it was originally posted on here the person who posted it uploaded it to youtube after it had been sent to him by Tre's golfing bud but then hours later it was clarified that he was not supposed to have been made it public and he removed it and appologised and the topic was closed on here as a result. In that time however many fans obviously saw it and possibly downloaded it so perhaps a fan has now uploaded it.

Biffy Clyro speak about headlining Reading Festival and they mention Green Day

What do you think of the line-up?

"It's wild to be going on after Nine Inch Nails, they're such an important band, certainly for our generation, and people who are slightly older, and that's also scary, it's going to be a difficult act to follow. And the likes of Green Day and Eminem playing on the other days as well, these are just acts that to us are other-worldly, they're just so massive and to be put on the same level as them is really hard to fathom at the moment when you still see yourself as just this little band. These guys are absolutely huge, world-renowned acts, so it's an honour and it's humbling, and it still doesn't kind of seem real at the moment."
