This week, Green Day stopped by the UK for a quick visit, picking up a Number 1 Award for their chart topping album Revolution Radio.

Yay!

Now we just need the rest of the album there too, or at the very least Bang Bang and Forever Now.

Lets get on their website and vote, people!

SLAYER Made Undisputed Attitude Because They Thought GREEN DAY Wasn't Real Punk

“I remember in particular when we did Undisputed Attitude in 1996, we did that in rebellion to Green Day and The Offspring. It’s not their fault but everyone called them punk bands and me and Jeff were, ‘This isn’t punk, guys.’ We just took offense to it and Undisputed Attitude was that coming out.”

Kerry King hasn't been as "real" as he thinks. Slayer's dead now, unfortunately, they should have stopped after Jeff died and Lombardo left the band. I bet his opinions have changed since anyway. 80's Slayer is the heaviest shit ever though.

So order the flag and get a free wrapping paper? Just a single sheet? Or an entire roll??

Says a sheet so I'd assume that's all it is. Pretty cool little bonus if you're already buying something. Reminds me I still have half my free sheet of GD wrapping paper from Kerrang a few years ago.

I'd buy the 35$ worth of stuff just to hang the wrapping paper on my wall like an epic poster.

What?!?! The only major differences I notice are his hair and the lack of tattoos. He hasn't really aged.

"You get right back up again. You look for a new adventure, and you fight even harder for it this time." I like you attitude, Mr. Armstrong.

14. Green Day, 'Revolution Radio'

Having completed the slightly improbable journey from Bay Area punkers to rock elder statesmen, Green Day decided to take on the state of the world on their 12th LP, which depicted the American psychosis with a slew of thundering tracks – and a few lighter ones, too, like delicate album closer "Ordinary World" and the steely yet triumphant "Still Breathing." Anchored by Mike Dirnt's bouncing-ball basslines and Tre Cool's frantic drumming, leader Billie Joe Armstrong tackles social ills and personal demons in taut songs that recall the band's early-21st-century high points, while adding just enough timeworn wisdom to reflect 2016's frayed state of the union.
