Yeah, I think there is a beta testers community or something like that, inside the Google translation program, who can adjust/change the translations. Between them there's for sure a huge GD fan

desertrose
In Defense of Green Day Green Day doesn’t suck. You suck. Punk as Fuck is a monthly column in which Collin Brennan discusses issues in punk music and culture. With Green Day releasing their new single, “Bang Bang”, on Thursday, this month’s column makes a case for the band’s continued relevance and explores how they’ve survived the “sell out” tag at every stage of their career. http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/08/in-defense-of-green-day/

desertrose
Green Day's official biggest selling singles and albums in the UK revealed In the list of things that never go out of style, add Green Day. Believe it or not, the band have now been racking up hits with their fiery brand of punk-rock for 22 years in the UK. In such time, they've landed 22 tracks in the Official Singles Chart Top 40 and seven Top 10 albums - including two Number 1s. Oh, and there's the small matter of their own musical, which continues to tour the globe seven years after its debut. This week sees the band make their long-awaited return with Bang Bang - their first new material in four years and the lead single from their upcoming 12th studio album (we're assuming). To celebrate, we thought it was about time we looked at their big ones - in the singles and albums departments. Who said punk-rock was dead? Let's start with a closer look at their Top 5 singles... http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/green-days-official-biggest-selling-singles-and-albums-in-the-uk-revealed__15938/

I mean, there's a whole festival dedicated to them this weekend.

Rumpelstiltskin2000
There's an interesting article here where Bethany Cosentino from Best Coast where she talks about being on tour with Green Day: http://donyc.com/p/interview-with-best-coast This is the paragraph where she talks about Green Day: Opening for The Go-Gos on their farewell tour is nothing to sneeze at. Who is the most intimidating act you have ever supported? I have to say- this tour with The Go-Go's is maybe my favorite tour we've ever done. Their fans love us. And getting to watch The Go-Go's live every night is just such a special treat. I was sorta worried when we booked the your because support tours can be weird- but like I said, the fans have been so gracious to us. I would say the most intimidating support tour we did was with Green Day. I mean, it was an honor- but we were playing huge arenas to fans that were ONLY there to see Green Day, they didn't give a fuck about us! Green Day themselves + their crew were super nice and supportive but those audiences, oh man. There we nights I had to just keep my eyes closed the entire time I was singing so I didn't have to see how bummed everyone in the crowd was, hahaha. desertrose
Our Favorite Songs Right Now: Green Day, Miranda Lambert and More Green Day, "Bang Bang" Green Day's first studio album in four long years is out in October, and its first single is a harrowing punk rager, sung from the perspective of a mass shooter drunk on twisted fame.
