Surely they could've thought of a worse song than that? Even if you dislike the song I can't see how it could be considered anywhere near bad enough to be on a top 10 bad songs list. A weirdly mediocre list in general when so many ridiculously bad rock songs exist in this world.

It annoys me at how little research they did. It's why I love the GDA article slamming them.

Looks like they have pulled the story - I've checked everyday - I can't see it now.

The 10 most influential bands of pop punk

Green Day

As much as we love Blink, even the most diehard fans have to admit that they learned some of their tricks from the other awesome Cali pop-punk band. GD are champions of bringing punk to America, and then the mainstream. In both looks and sound, most of the biggest pop-punk bands today are (lovingly) ripping off Green Day

Influential since the 90s, perhaps. How can Buzzcocks not be on that list since they practically invented it?

More like 10 random well known pop punk bands of the 90s/00s. I don't believe most of them are "influential". Also completely ridiculous that the Offspring isn't there.

American Idiot is #10 in Loudwire 'Top 100 Hard Rock+Metal albums of 21st Century'.

That's great!

Not bad! Especially when they really only narrowly fit the genre. And QOTSA and Rammstein are there so I'm happy.

Top 20 Major Label Debuts by Indie Bands That Made the Leap

5. Green Day – Dookie

No one makes adolescent boredom sound as cool as Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong. That’s why 21 years after its release, Dookie is still one of the most listenable punk albums ever made. Like its angrier older cousin Nevermind, Dookie carried a lot of weight when it was released, simultaneously propelling Green Day into the spotlight and punk into the mainstream. The band’s third album finally came to fruition when Green Day struck a deal with Reprise, which set them up with producer Rob Cavallo. With his help, the raccoon-eyed rockers managed to attain the Black Sabbath/Sex Pistols production style they were looking for while capturing the angsty adolescence that ultimately became the band’s staple. And when it comes down to it, the album’s youthful spirit is what makes it a classic. The album cover displays cartoon chaos, the title refers to the band’s post-tour-food diarrhea, and throughout the whole album, Armstrong drawls apathetic lyrics like “Twiddle my thumbs just for a bit/ I’m sick of all the same old shit.” Hell, even the name “Green Day” is a cheesy nod to the band’s love of cannabis. No matter the era, a pissed-off high schooler can find solace in Dookie’s perfect immaturity. –Danielle Janota

Kinda random, but saw this posted today

Jim Trickel

Seems like a lifetime ago. I was a Duty Manager at Oakland International Airport. I was walking the curb, and this group of musicians were unloading luggage and a few protected instruments curbside Terminal 1. I asked, "are you guys a famous band?", And Billy said, "well, we hope so, we just won the Bay Area Bammy's".....and the rest is history.......

Oh, that's cool! Wish they would've got his name correct. I wonder if Billie Joe, being such a fan, will squee about this? I love the image in my mind.  aw, lol :D

How the heck could they get the spelling wrong? Even Google knows how to spell it. Spell check - don't assume you are correct in your spelling.

Ok, not overly  but how silly.

Grrr why can't people get his name right? Who would want one of those cards with his name spelled incorrectly?

I paid $20 for a box, and I think a box had 10 packs. Last time I was at Target I don't think I saw an open box with individual packs for sale, but I know they're for sale like that at other place, maybe K-mart

Hmm thanks for the info! I'll look into it. If not maybe I'll get lucky and just find the Billie card on Ebay.

Same. Also it's not their fault if his name is spelled a silly way :P
