desertrose
Before They Were Famous – Early Videos Of Lana Del Rey, Radiohead, Nicki Minaj, Green Day And More 5. GREEN DAY Billie Joel Armstrong's 17-year-old son is launching a music career under the name Jakob Danger. Here's dad in May 10 1990, as the band play songs from their first album '39/Smooth' (released in April of that year) plus one that would later feature on 1992's 'Kerplunk!' ('Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?'). Original member John Kiffmeyer plays drums for the gig, pre-Tré Cool. Exactly...it's still pretty funny though like how can you even recognise Billie in the middle of New York and if you do and you bother in 2015 to take a photo then you still give a fuck about the existence of Green Day or consider the possibility the photo may be worth taking (financially from the pov of a photographer etc) so then you's think maybe you might recognise the other guy He's kind been Billie's "friend" for a while now Good for him that he can have his privacy though and hey he's looking really well

lizziebix
I really really want the GD pj's but not for $75. No way. That's ridiculous.
Hero_Of_The_Hour
You forgot the blanket for $125 and the pillow for $85 And THAT ladies and gentlemen is how you afford to maintain a rockstar lifestyle without actually being a rockstar anymore (and fund your kids rockstar ambitions ) ...sell socks and shit. Hermione
To be fair I doubt the band have anything to do with setting those prices or even know what's being sold in the store, which would also be the case for the majority of bands....although maybe they should look into it some time since things appear to be getting ridiculous . I can't decide if the "pillow"/cushion for $85 or Christmas bauble for $20 is the biggest rip off out of the lot. I know you can get 4 Muse baubles for a tenner (this despite a lot of their stuff being overpriced too) so the bauble might win it. I wonder if it'll turn out they've shot themselves in the foot by making the prices so prohibitively high? Because that's some really cool stuff but it clearly isn't worth the money. Oh there's also a scarf for $35: http://greenday.shop.bravadousa.com/Product.aspx?cp=16464_80454&pc=BGCMGD19 I think that's slightly more reasonable, seeing as you could get some wear out of it and it's not just a novelty item. I'd be tempted to get that if they still had a UK store (which they don't) and if instead of getting a jacked up price there it was the actual converted price of £23 (which it wouldn't have been). Chin for a Day
I don't think the Christmas ornament is that highly priced, maybe a little, but not that bad. That is what specialty ornaments go for around here. You can spend $50 or $60 bucks on Hallmark ornaments. I think the $25 for a pair of socks is the one that throws me over the edge. Personally, I would order every bit of merchandise today if they were for studio album #12.
Beerjeezus
I do like the hat, but not for that price. I'm not a merch person anyway.
Hero_Of_The_Hour
They are getting money from the merch so they have to be aware of the existence of it. If they don't know that a random company is using their name/image to rip off their fans and is using their official site to sell said merch then that's even worse...but they are still getting a shit tonne of money from it so that can't be the case or they are really dumb. At the end of the day the PJ's for example cost more than a ticket to see them live. Fuck that.
insomniax
I want the christmas ornament, it's very pretty but it's too expensive as I assume they're 20 dollars a piece. I expect a 4-6 pack for that price and only because it's merch. I wish they would sell clothing and other merch with the older artwork aswell. Fine, American Idiot always looks good but the trilogy stuff is just awful and cheaplooking. I'd like some stuff from nimrod or Insomniac, it's hard to find.
