Give_Me_Novacaine90
In-flight entertainment: when flying goes wrong for musicians1. ‘I’m just trying to get to my fucking seat’Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong was chucked off a plane for refusing to hoist up his sagging trousers, in September 2011. According to an ABC producer, who happened to be on the same flight, Armstrong responded with, “don’t you have better things to do than worry about that?” when challenged by the flight attendant. Apparently not. When he failed to comply, Armstrong was shown the exit. His angry tweets about the incident only add to its delightful absurdity.http://www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2015/aug/18/flying-goes-wrong-jason-derulo-musicians

Beerjeezus
Since when is Blink-182?You'd be surprised if you saw how Czech media portrays them. It might be just my impression and it's not how world sees these two bands but I'd say that Blink gets more credit. Neigbourhoods is seen as a grown-up album of a former joke band and valued for being a move forward in their career. Therefore Green Day is seen as immature and wannabe leftist band for kids. I read reviews that were genuinely surprised Norah Jones chose Billie as an "equal partner" and he didn't fuck up.

I can't see how anyone can think that American Idiot is immature? Even, Warning and 21st CB. I know my kids don't have a clue who Blink-182 are. Don't get me wrong, Green Day has enough haters out there, but over here, I think Blink is just forgotten.

Give_Me_Novacaine90
You hear the songs, you know their band names, but you might not have the whole background on where that name came from or how those hits were made. The history of rap group N.W.A has been made into a biopic, but what about The Spice Girls? Or Destiny's Child? Queen, Green Day, and most importantly... One Direction? http://www.hlntv.com/slideshow/2015/08/18/these-bands-need-movies-about-their-origins-straight-outta-compton Watch The Hottest VMA Moments Ever There are so many hot, stand-out male performances, it’s hard to keep track of them all. Chris Brown and Justin Bieber both sent their careers into high-gear after their VMA debuts, One Direction became our “One Thing,” Sam Smith hypnotized us with his voice, while Maroon 5 and Green Day set things on fire… literally. http://www.mtv.com/news/2244021/watch-hottest-vma-moments-beyonce-taylor-swift-justin-bieber/ As previously announced, the Atlantic season will also include Caryl Chuchill's Cloud Nine, These Paper Bullets!, written by Rolin Jones and featuring music by Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong http://www.broadway.com/buzz/181817/kenneth-lonergans-hold-on-to-me-darling-will-receive-world-premiere-off-broadway/ http://www.newyorktheatreguide.com/news/nytg15/holdontomedarling557770.htm

Chin for a Day
So they're on a new record label? Reprise must've let them go?SESAC is not a record label. It is an organization that is designed to ensure that artists get compensated when their music is played in public. For example, the Oakland A's just had Green Day fireworks. They would have to go through SESAC to license the use of the songs. They are still on Reprise Records.
