Later on in the month, Amelia Lily will also follow suit. She finished in third place during the 2011 series of The X Factor, recently played the role of the Narrator on a UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and is now gearing up for her West End debut as 'Whatshername' in Green Day's American Idiot at the Arts Theatre from 17 July through to 27 September 2015.

I came across these two items.

The first is an article in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame magazine on the new inductees. It is just a one page thing, and I don't agree with all the recommended listening, but still nice to see:

This was an advertisement in Guitar World Magazine. Now, I'm pretty sure you can use whatever strings you want, even if you are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but he does look adorable and succeeded and selling me Ernie Ball strings.

John Roecker just posted on Facebook (not about HLAHG):

"So excited about the Roecker/Melody show tonight. If you are in Los Angeles would love to see you! Thanks for your support. Also Dylan and Billie are gonna not only rock it but wear sexy outfits! Don't be square be there".

Why is this posted in Green Day news?

I'm guessing the poster took the Billie mentioned to be Billie Joe

Whoever wrote this article knows nothing about AI. They wrote that Johnny stayed home with the pregnant girlfriend while Will and Tunny went out into the world. Please know your material before you write about it

This is actually pretty cool

"His producers turned the guitar riff from Green Day's 1995 "Brain Stew" into an inventive sample, which sets the track up to stand out from the crowd. Bryce even references the song in the chorus, rapping on my own, here we go."

After a few albums Muse decided it wanted to be Queen. And now it's gone over, even further, to the dark side (ie: Green Day). Okay, the band doesn't sound like Green Day, at least there isn't that horrible affected punk-kid buzz to the vocals, as if the singer is permanently lit up by his own importance...

In the video, McCartney hangs out with several different stars including Ringo, Stevie Wonder, and Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day.

Green Day mentioned here http://www.alfabetajuega.com/noticia/guitar-hero-live-suma-diez-nuevas-canciones-a-su-banda-sonora-n-55427

Like most new wave/post-punk stories, the Big Country story begins in 1977, when multi-instrumentalist Stuart Adamson formed Skids. The band did okay, but are perhaps best known today for the track “The Saints Are Coming,” later covered by both U2 and Green Day.
