Top 25 Punk Albums of All Time

5. Green Day, 'Dookie'

Green Day, 'Dookie' (1994, Reprise) - In 1994, Green Day gave the punk genre just the jolt it needed with their 'Dookie' album, inviting a new generation of fans to embrace the sounds of the acts that inspired them. The modern-day angst of "Longview," the unbridled rock of "Basket Case," the catchy lament "When I Come Around" and even the deeper tracks "Burnout" and "She"

Then, in 2004, enraged by President George W. I think it's the lips and nose? So basically most of the face?

Damn, that picture looks like they mixed up Billie and Sam Smith's face. It is a bit frightening.

I don't think the Billie is that bad. Mike looks like he's had lip fillers.

That was super difficult to read. I felt like it was all over the place.

Their sentence structure is so odd. It's not written very well at all. I think they're trying to sound too smart, perhaps?

I love this article. Mostly for these two paragraphs:

"But much of it comes down to this: Armstrong is one of the rock's best songwriters in the past quarter century"

I couldn't agree more.

And this:

"Billie Joe was kind of standing there, looking a little nervous, and I turned to him and said, "You're actually a songwriter," Erokan says. He looked at me and he smiled. Then he looked down, like he was a little embarrassed. "

I can just see teenage Billie all nervous, looking down, shuffling his feet being embarrassed. It is so damn cute.
