All of sudden I feel very young, but no one my age likes Green Day and in my defence I've been a fan since I was like 5 (and that's the truth). None of my friends are really into Green Day, which is a shame (although there's a few that know the more known GD songs - AI, Basket Case, Good Riddance, Boulevard, Holiday, 21 Guns etc) It's so great to just be able to talk about anything and everything GD (with people who actually listen!!!) At first when I joined GDC (I make it sound like it was years ago but it was two days ago) I didn't want people to know my age since I thought I wouldn't be taken seriously, but after talking to everyone in this thread I love this fanbase more than ever. I love that younger people like them, my son and niece are coming with me to see them in Leeds and they're 13 and 15.
