Yeah it's ugly. When I saw it I was like OMG gouge my eyes please  It's like the graphic designer thought OK I'll do this stupid thing because nobody has ever done that before so I'll be the first and cool  I think the reason for "nobody has ever done that before" is pretty obvious haha

I'm excited for this. it would be awesome if it was an in depth article about all the guitars he's used over the years on all their albums. I think nimrod was the last one that he used Blue on, but I know he used a lot of different guitars on that one

I hope by them saying "super-secret cover preview", it means that this isn't the final cover and the weird photoshop effect is just there to act as some sort of "secret" preview filter.

TIm actually looking at this right now at Books A Million. I dont plan on buying it, but here are some highlights:

- The weird graphic is just as bad in person and on the cover. Its awful. But the rest of the pics are nice.

- They open with a description of the Palladium show.

- Praises/discusses Billie's "delicious command of the almighty eighth note"

- Billie prefers GD's guitar to be not always easy, but always simple and approachable.

- Mentions/discusses GDs guitar tech Hans Buscher. (There is also a side interview with Chris Dugan included)

- Talks RevRad equipment.

- Story and process of writing Ordinary World

- Praises Jason White briefly

- Talks neighborhood- Otis, Broken Guitars, Bay Area's expansion

Obviouslu theres other stuff in there too, but that's what was noticeable. Just wanted to recap in case anyone was debating getting it or not.

 LONG POST! This magazine has a million ads so the interview took up way more space than it needed to, I just cropped them out. Also this mag didn't want to bend so it's hard to read at the crease but hopefully you'll get the picture.

Kinda surprised he mentioned Def Leppard and Ratt as some influences, certainly wouldn't have expected those. Though I figure he likes most shit these days.
