Dang. That was a great interview, perhaps even better than the second RS interview.

I think it really was the best interview yet. This one was similar to the second RS story in how it mapped out how things went downhill and how they are rebuilding, but this was more...insightful? I loved the quotes from the guys, and the writer was very astute in their observations, I think.

oh yeah, life would be much easier if everyone wasn't expected to be confident and communicative. It doesn't come as easily to everyone but it is pretty much a norm so introverted people/ppl with social anxiety can easily feel under pressure.

I understand their reasons for avoiding Trilogy even though I'd love to hear some of those songs.

He usually doesn't make much eye contact. It kind of bothers me when people do that, btw. I tend to pick it up and start to feel nervous too.

I have really bad social anxiety, to the extent where I avoid eye contact with most people. And I actually realise that I'm doing it during the conversation, but it's really hard to bring myself to make the contact regardless. It makes me super self conscious when I do and obviously I get self conscious when I don't, so I can't win. Anxiety is a bitch. :tired:

It is. For a while I didn't want to leave home because I'd get sick when I did, I was scared to talk to people to the point of avoiding conversations and shopping and I used to be terrified of eating in public. Strangely enough, I'm ok now even though I've never had any therapy. I guess that makes me kind of lucky. I'm sorry if I sounded as if I was criticizing people for not making eye contact. It was just a thought that occurred to me because I remembered how awkward I get when I talk with a certain person I know...I've got nothing but admiration for everyone who has to cope with something as hard as anxiety. It absolutely sucks.
