Wow, packing their schedule! They have the other Fire Relief concert the night before and then the Grammys Sunday! We’re being spoiled. Lovely (but not unexpected) to see them playing shows to help the community.

Cool to see there's a decent amount of videos on youtube and instagram. What great timing for a surprise show to brighten up miserable January this show was! Gotta love these guys for never getting tired of playing music.

This year (27 January 2025), Green Day are playing in Dubai, UAE on the Saviors Tour. On this day 8 years ago (27 January 2017), Green Day played the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on the Revolution Radio Tour. The Abba Museum let Billie borrow Björn's guitar. More photos: 20 years ago (27 January 2005), Green Day played Nottingham Arena in Nottingham, England on the American Idiot Tour. I actually remember the Green Day poster being up on the wall (it was this picture). I grew up within walking distance of Nottingham Arena so I saw it every time I went into town. Sadly I had no idea who Green Day were until about two years later. It’s surreal to think of them playing so close to home. When people ask what show you'd go to if you had a time machine, I usually mention one of the trilogy era club shows, but actually, it'd be this one even though there was nothing special about it. It is so hard to believe that Saviors is already one year old. Crazy to me for some reason. Time flies when you're having fun I guess, lol.

That clip sounded SO GOOD💚 Hey guys👋 I was just wondering is there like a thread on here(Its kinda early I'm still tired lol so I tried looking even checked general chat but didn't see a thread) for like advice on how to deal with hateful fans(they aren't on GDC thank God) bc I saw one of them on the Saviors tour (3 dates I went to) and my whole time was kinda ruined bc they would not leave me alone. i don't want to name drop here but if anyone wants to message me idk just looking for advice. I honestly hope this is ok to post here. I'm asking this now bc i fear they'll be at one of these festivals I am going to in May to see Green Day I just want to enjoy myself and not be anxious/ stressed bc these three people have harrassed me. Long story short, I met them briefly in 2022 at a music festival, we became friends. They started treating me badly I blocked these people off all social media a year later in 2023. Haven't seen/ spoke to them since. In 2024 at 3 Saviors shows I went to, one of them (only saw one of them at these shows) started harrassing me, yelling at me in public while I was waiting with other people. I had almost said "f it" and left. I felt uncomfortable the whole entire time. It sucks... if there's a thread for advice let me know? I can repost there or if anyone wants to message me. I just kinda want to get this off my chest, see what anyone else would do in this situation? And if you have a feeling you know these people i'm talking about message me. 😕 they are not on GDC but i still don't want to name drop as i'm fearful of them. When i saw one of them at the Saviors shows they came to me out of nowhere(minding my own business just sitting / waiting with other people) and threatened me screaming at the top of their lungs. I haven't seen any mention of it on Instagram, so I think someone was either trolling or confused 🤷‍♀️ I was just on a video call with to my partner when he joined one of his colleagues who went to the show last night, and of course I asked him about the show. The guy is a pretty casual listener (he felt the need to inform me they closed with Time of Your Life how cute is that?), but he was converted. "They played song after song! and they had so much energy! It was just amazing!" He sounded still really hyped and really happy about the show. I felt proud ☺️

they need to staph fucking around with Rock and roll and pull Strangeland out after 1872 shows (in all seriousness though, it was worth it for Still Breathing)

But Rock and Roll All Nite is back, they must like to play it but they have so many better songs of their own I’d rather hear!
