  1. It's already out in Australia. 10/10 record. Gives me vibes of oldschool Green Day mixed with Longshot. Here Comes The Neighborhood and Trash TV are my faves

  2. Love to see this go number 1 on at least one Rick chart that would be their 3rd number 1 rock radio single next to Dilemma and TADIKM

  4. This is a clever promo move if it's not an insane coincidence, but pretty sure it's the former. The person made their Reddit account just to post about it, yet knew exactly where to post and only asked about the Green Day CD

  5. London is my favorite place in the world, so the fact that Billie seems to spend a lot of time there these days makes me so happy. The image of this cute lil dorky dad rebelliously doing graffiti in the middle of the day is hilarious to me. I love him so much lol.

  7. Saw a seemingly fake article about a new 2024 album by Green Day called Armeggedeon songs, an apocalyptic album with wild experimentation and features by other artists new and old. Follower by a big tour with all the big hits. If it said 2025 and didn't have 50 quadrillion pop ups, I might have believed it.

  8. It seems the person who originally found it and posted about it deleted their own posts. My guess would be that they were contacted in not the most friendly terms by either band management or the record label? 😅 The timing is super weird and suspicious, I agree, and finding this in a thrift store sounds too good to be true, but on the other hand I don't see why the band would plant this. If they had wanted to release these demos, they could have released them in the Anniversary box next week. And not sure it's such a good promo move... the only people I see talking about this or even aware of this are the same people who already pre-ordered they Anniversary box. Even the number of upvotes and comments in the post was not crazy. I don't know what to believe anymore. I want the date of those songs though! 😂

  9. Was this planted? Now I’m wondering the thrifting story was made up.

  10. When the Trilogy was released I used to think of "Stop when the red lights flash" when I passed this sign in the village. Been trying to walk again lately and it's still there and still always reminds me of "Stop when the red lights flash"

  11. Pretty sure this CD alone will be better than the entire deluxe.

  12. It’s interesting how there are no cross references yet to the concept story. No Whatshername reference in Radio Baghdad and no Jimmy references in Novacaine. I wonder at what point they decided to go with a concept record idea and drop these references in the various songs to tighten it up. The soft acoustic guitar intro was a much better choice for WMUWSE over drums, it’s interesting to hear both because where the drums gives the song a more anxious, heart pounding feel, the guitar gives it heart and melancholy. These are just what you want in demos, those early takes where you really get the evolution of the songs. I’m curious to see what versions are on the deluxe release but at least we have these now.

  13. Hey party people (at least I hope that's what those young folks today say), So I've been a fan for a while and have been collecting some stuff over the years and besides doing scans of artwork I also like to scan magazines and books. Especially this year I focused on a lot of Japanese mags I wanted to share since not too many people outside of Japan have seen these or people from outside of Germany have seen the German mags I also have. Since I always wanted to have the American Idiot tour book they did (actually "just" tour rehearsal photos and dates) and since it's AI's anniversary, I wanted to share HQ scans of those as well. Since I'm a perfectionist I edited the pictures to be as close as possible to the original mag or how it "should" look digitized, these took a lot of time and I wanted to share as much as possible at once with you. There's still stuff to scan and/or edit. Here's a short list of what's coming next: Warning Tour Book, Crossbeat 2001/12, Guitar Breakers 2004/10, Crossbeat 1995/11, Crossbeat 2000/08, Visions 2009/05, (maybe) Billboard 2009/05, etc. Well, here's the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Hk68uJ_YwpQBby3nlLWhRAWU6_8vdAkE?usp=sharing Enjoy!

  21. Honestly, yeah, "5 songs" might be more likely. I do wonder when these recordings might of been made.

  22. wow, this is what i call a "demo version" of a song! so much better than the "demos" we got so far from official release insane to hear this 20 years later

  25. I'm fascinated by this. You walk into a thrift store and find this gem, something that's been around for 20+ years. And you do it the week before the band's release of the 20th anniversary release of the album and more polished (from what I read from your comments) demos. It's just nuts. Can someone help me with Radio Baghdad ?

  30. When I have the time, I will see through all these articles. Let's see what I can find. A lot of them are from BRAVO, this was a youth magazine of... let's say not very high journalistic quality... But maybe there are hidden gems!?

  31. Hope it keeps getting attention. Dilemma and Bobby Sox are some of their strongest songs in over a decade and should be more crowd-pleasing in general.
