Father of All Demasters would be great. Rev Rad could be literally on fire when you get it. This Demasters feels very much like something I would make up in the forums. This is my kind of thing.9 points

I’m really surprised by the negative reaction. These are just weird little collectibles that are made in tiny quantities so they’ll be super rare and cool for whoever wins them. I put my name down for a few that I thought would be cool to display. I think it’s fun, and none of them are expensive at all given how extremely limited they are.5 points

Who knew I'd ever want a Billie Bass? I think this is fun! So many childhood memories there.5 points

It’s a collab, idk what you all were expecting, it’s not like this is something they dreamed up just for the sake of it. It’s quite creative actually, props to the team who did come up with it. Just a bit of fun really it makes me laugh when people complain about this sort of thing like they’re obligated to buy it 🤣5 points

Just a bit of fun I guess. Sucks that the entry to win the physical formats is US only 😏 quite like the concept though, it’s silly!5 points

Some of these are really funny, they’re unique collectibles if nothing else. Love the doorbell and the player piano roll. That Big Mouth Billie Bass is going to be popular, some of these are less desirable if they require players you don’t have4 points

Come on. Is it stupid and unnecessary? Yes. But in a genius, hilarious and completely unexpected way. I love it. And most of them are cheaper than a concert t-shirt. When I saw what it was going to be I thought it'd be a lot more expensive. The teddy bear and the big mouth Billie bass (😂) are the best, but too pricey. The US address only thing is a bummer though... but I entered my sister's address If I get something I can recover it next time I'm there.4 points

The price to have ALL this shit is crazy. Honestly the cum idea on the vinyl was better.4 points

Piano version of Burnout and Gameboy version of Welcome To Paradise are cool. Music Box version of All By Myself is cute. Also like the Big Mouth Billie Bass lol.4 points

Where's @solongfromthestars so I can piggyback on her post? Well, 14 years ago (8th of October 2010) was Green Day's first and only concert in Venezuela to date. Pretty easy anniversary to remember as it's also my mom's birthday. I sang happy birthday to her at midnight, because I during the day I'd be in the queue all day and then in the concert. I actually found the post I made back then to recap the show. I was not very active in GDC back then, so I was surprised to find I had posted here, and quite happy too because I didn't remember half the stuff I wrote there, but reading brought a lot of it back. The main highlight being Billie Joe having to save himself during EJN because the kid he brought on stage didn't speak English and didn't know what to do (but was completely adorable). This show was long (and of course I don't say that as a complain, on the contrary), that's why at first I had trouble believing they had played 37 songs in the show in Lyon this year, because I knew it had been less in Caracas, but that that show had been so much longer. And I was to 2 shows of the 21CBD tour in NYC before this, so I knew it was going to be a long show, but it was loooonger than I expected. I've always suspected it's because of how relaxed rule enforcement is in South America, I imagine Billie going "what do you mean the curfew is around midnight, what happens if we play longer? ... You mean, it's okay if we play longer?" 😂 I had heard Going to Pasalacqua and Christie Road before (at least partially) in one of the NYC shows in 2009, but this concert was the first I heard Letterbomb, Whatsername and Give Me Novacaine live I was in a really dark place in terms of my mental health when that show happened, and it was so cathartic to hear those songs that got me into Green Day and that got me through some pretty rough times back in 2005/2006 too. What a welcome relief that show was. And to finally see them in Venezuela after so much traveling for this band was also so exciting, I had given up hope on that happening. Also, absolutely crazy to think that this was the last Green Day show I attended until Bataclan last year. Anyways, I'm sure @solongfromthestars will come with more pics to share from that show 🙂4 points

I was too tired last night. So 8 years ago yesterday (8 October 2016), Green Day played Webster Hall in NYC on the Revolution Radio club tour. More photos: 14 years ago (8 October 2010), Green Day played in Caracas, Venezuela for the first and only time so far on the 21st Century Breakdown Tour. More photos: 15 years ago (8 October 2009), Green Day played the Color Line Arena in Hamburg, Germany on the 21st Century Breakdown Tour. 19 years ago (8 October 2005), Green Day played the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA on the American Idiot Tour. More photos: 30 years ago (8 October 1994), Green Day played Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg, Sweden while supporting Bad Religion on the Dookie Tour. 31 years ago (8 October 1993), Green Day played Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit, MI while supporting Bad Religion. 32 years ago (8 October 1992), Green Day played The Cruel Elephant in Vancouver, Canada on the Kerplunk Tour. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On this day 5 years ago (9 October 2019), Green Day played 3 songs on the Howard Stern Show. More photos: The Fire, Ready, Aim music video was also released 5 years ago today. More screenshots: 15 years ago (9 October 2009), Green Day played the Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 21st Century Breakdown Tour. More photos: 19 years ago (9 October 2005), Green Day played a second night at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA on the American Idiot Tour. 23 years ago (9 October 2001), Tune in, Tokyo was released. 24 years ago (9 October 2000), Green Day played 6 songs on KROQ's Kevin & Bean Breakfast in LA. There's audio on YouTube (although it doesn't include Brat). 30 years ago (9 October 1994), Green Day played the Globen Annexet in Stockholm, Sweden while supporting Bad Religion on the Dookie Tour. 31 years ago (9 October 1993), Green Day played the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, IL while supporting Bad Religion. They also played there in 1997. "I met Al [Sobrante] when I booked his band the Ne'er Do Wells and The Shatners (Star Trek cover band). He was a super nice guy and hilarious. The night I booked the Ne'er Do Wells and the Shatners at No Palace Studios on Division and Wood Street, now a trendy hot spot, but in 1993 still a hot bed of crime and gangbangers, Green Day was playing the Riv with Bad Religion and ALL. Al found out about the show and he wanted me to drive him over, so he could picket the show, since Green Day recently signed to a major label. I couldn't tell if he was serious or joking, but I got the feeling he wanted to do it as more of a joke. Plus, how odd would it be to see Green Day's former drummer outside a Chicago show with a sign making fun of the band, although I don't think the kids would know who he was." — Mike Byrne This was so nice to read. Dumb is literally what Green Day do sometimes, especially with stuff from the earlier days. Wouldn't read into too much. It's just a bit of fun.3 points

I could have resisted so many things. I have resisted the coffee. I could have resisted a vinyl with bodily fluids. I could have resisted any vinyl for that matter. I could have resisted signed editions. I could have resisted so many things... But this is genius 😂 I want.3 points

Hey party people (at least I hope that's what those young folks today say), So I've been a fan for a while and have been collecting some stuff over the years and besides doing scans of artwork I also like to scan magazines and books. Especially this year I focused on a lot of Japanese mags I wanted to share since not too many people outside of Japan have seen these or people from outside of Germany have seen the German mags I also have. Since I always wanted to have the American Idiot tour book they did (actually "just" tour rehearsal photos and dates) and since it's AI's anniversary, I wanted to share HQ scans of those as well. Since I'm a perfectionist I edited the pictures to be as close as possible to the original mag or how it "should" look digitized, these took a lot of time and I wanted to share as much as possible at once with you. There's still stuff to scan and/or edit. Here's a short list of what's coming next: Warning Tour Book, Crossbeat 2001/12, Guitar Breakers 2004/10, Crossbeat 1995/11, Crossbeat 2000/08, Visions 2009/05, (maybe) Billboard 2009/05, etc. Well, here's the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Hk68uJ_YwpQBby3nlLWhRAWU6_8vdAkE?usp=sharing Enjoy!2 points

I just did the same except for the rock category where I voted Chad Smith 😂2 points

Wait, so you all mean to tell me there is not a single bodily fluid involved in any of this? I am devastated. I had my credit card ready and everything. 🤣 Seriously though, this is pretty bizarre. I am feeling like they deliberately pranked us--which I guess is a pretty Dookie-esque thing to do.2 points

And like, why are they even doing this just days before the American Idiot Super Deluxe release?2 points

Dumb. The "demastered" word made me get excited for a second that they were going to release official stems. Boy was I wrong.2 points

This is dumb. Wtf Green Day? The concept is interesting and the items in theory are interesting collectibles but really? First pickeball paddles now this?2 points

I’m missing out on both I can’t believe it. I was in an airplane between Pittsburgh and Berlin for the Saviors one and now for this one I’ll be in Savannah and no listening party there 😭 Why does this keep happening I don’t really travel that much but there’s always a conflict.2 points

I missed out on the Saviors listening party but I’m definitely gonna make a drive to Columbus or Pittsburgh for this one.2 points

What do we think this is hinting at? Maybe a Saviors Deluxe edition? That’s my vote currently EDIT: Alright I’m abandoning my last theory in favor of Dookie vinyl with dookie infused in it, stay classy GDC1 point

But you don't need all of them. I entered for two, but with the hope that I will only get one, because really that's enough 😂1 point

This is so dumb. Only one that interests me is the Gameboy cartridge. Hate the scarcity on this too. Would have been funny to release Dookie Demastered all the audio from these versions on Spotify or CD in addition to the very limited collectibles.1 point

This is not a criticism but sometimes I wonder if we are all listening to the same record.1 point

Wondering if there'll be some kind of concert again? In 2019 we got the Seville show around the EMAs, last year we got the Bataclan show. So maybe something in Manchester this year? 🤔 Wishful thinking, I know 😅1 point

Saviors Era isn't over quite yet, as there are more live shows booked next year and I'm 99 % sure there will be more festival shows and possibly another US leg on the way. As for the singles we randomly got during COVID era 2020-2022: Dreaming was a random cover during Billie's No Fun Mondays project, which was for some odd reason released under Green Day rather than BJA. Here Comes the Shock was (sadly) released to fulfill that NHL deal. Pollyanna was released as a promo for Hella Mega Tour. Holy Toledo! was part of a movie soundtrack. Out of these 4, only Pollyanna can be considered as extra generous to fans, since it was written to be this feel good song during the tour. As for 15th studio album, it really makes you wonder how do The Boys™ see their own future and if they are once again taking 2-3 years off before releasing that album. They are definitely not getting any younger and I'd argue this is the last era we'll see Billie still look relatively young. I really don't have any predictions nor wishes for 15th album, but I do however hope they start rocking out their grey hairs and beards and appreciate how fucking old they are starting to be for this genre. Jason looks awesome with his hair already, so hopefully The Boys™ do follow the suit, 'cause Tre's blue hair looks ridiculous and Billie clearly has to dye his hair every month at this point to not show grey patches in his hair. As for the next tours, I've finally found peace and fully expect them to never play 21CB/Trilogy stuff ever again. Maybe once they'll play Nuclear Family/21 Guns or some shit, but for tours.. nah. Those days are in the past. Those albums will never get any more love than they got during their tours. Shame. I adore them. Oh shit I'm rambling completely off-topic nonsense. As for Saviors album, my top 3 after 9 months is following: 1. Corvette Summer 2. Dilemma 3. 1981 American Dream is still in my top 5 and I like Bobby Sox, although its lyrics are starting to get on my nerves. Father to a son is a massive flop and I still don't see any redemption in Fancy Sauce. Awful title with even more awful lyrics with okay outro. I also like Living in the '20s, but for some reason I really don't listen it anymore. One Eyed Bastard and Coma City remain as songs that I skip immediately. Saviors is also kinda ehh. Overall opinion after 9 months: Best album since Trilogy with best production since 21CB. Best guitar solo and bass work since Trilogy, unsure about how I feel Tre's drumming on this record: production is great, but his playing is pretty stale excluding Coma City. Guitar riffs are pretty weak and unoriginal and I haven't bothered to learn more than 3 songs (American Dream, Corvette Summer and Dilemma) thanks to it. Vocals are fucking awesome with my favorite being Dilemma's chorus and for some reason I dig that lower harmony during chorus in Corvette Summer. 7/10 album with 10/10 production.1 point

Thanks for sharing this @pacejunkie punk really interesting chat much more than interview. As ever, could have done with hearing more from Billie, Aaron is interesting but does have a lot to say! Forgot to say, I hadn’t heard before that Alan (I assume) took custody of Billie for him to attend PVH and Billie’s reaction to the comment about Tim Yohannon was very polite!1 point
